A warm Saturday afternoon in Hot Springs Village saw some hot scores that earned some promotions.

In the Champ flight, Kyle Thompson (77) outlasted Shawn Stillman (80) for a 3-stroke victory.

The A flight saw Sean Fenton (77) from Dallas-Fort Worth tour edge out Rick Cherry (78) by one stroke.

For the first promotion of the day, Mark Lewis had a blistering 75 ot earn 7 shot victory over Dale Stringer (82). For his great play, Mark has been promoted to the A Flight.

The second promotion was to Jay Williams (81). He outlasted Curtis Kolb (83) for a win and a promotion to the B Flight. Third went to Phil Smith (86). Jerry Crabtree and Vic Werner tied for 4th with 87s and Jerry got the prize money in a cardoff.

In the D Flight, Richard McMahan (89) had to wait around while Glen Meldahl (90) and Tim Smith (90) battled on the course, but couldn't quite catch him. Glen got the 2nd place nod on a cardoff. Finishing 4th with a 91 was Loren Clemons.
