The Arkansas GolfWeek Amateur Tour returned to Hot Springs Village for the Balboa Golf Club Tournament. 82 Arkansas Tour players were joined by 8 visiting tour members to compete for in their flights and earn points to qualify for the National Finals in Hilton Head Island, SC in October. The visitors were from the Dallas Tour and Louisiana North Tour.

Nine golfers competed in the Champ flight with Chris Smith (73) winning another tournament over Corey Durham (77). Corey took second in a card off with Christopher Desfassiaux.

LR Gardner (76) outlasted Mike Norwood (78) to take home the A Flight hardware. Third place honors were decided in a card off as 3 players shot 79. Will Clark was third, Chandler Cain was fourth and Sean Fenton finished fifth.

In the B Flight, Justin Lewis (79) held on for a two stroke victory over Jake Onnen (81). Paul Golden (83) took fourth over Dallas Tour player Ben Iannacone (85).

In the C flight David Eslinger (83) carded a 3 stroke victory of Richard McClendon (86). Solo third was Phil Hemba (88). In a 3-way card off (89) with Vic Werner, Raymond Peevy and Phil Smith, Vic took fourth over Raymond while Phil finished in sixth.

Jerry Crabtree (90) took home the D Flight honors with a two stroke victory over three players coming in at 92. In the card off, Kemper Pyle took second with Yul Eslinger in third. Keith Goolsby took fourth in the cardoff. Rounding out the paid places in the D Flight was Richard McMahan (94).
