As a long time player of either Mizuno or Titleist irons I was a bit skeptical of playing Wilson; as I have not heard much about them recently.  After my recent fitting all of my doubts were erased.  The Wilson team was awesome!  They worked with me for nearly two hours trying four different sets of irons at various lie angles and five different shaft options.  By the time I finished hitting nearly a couple hundred shots, I was set on the FG Tour V4s.  My shot distribution was tight in the simulator and longer than the Mizunos I played last year.  I have never been through such detailed club fitting to exactly dial in the correct specs to my swing.  I highly recommend playing the Wilson Cup  - this prize is well worth the effort.  Can’t wait to hit these on tour in 2016! - Jason Krich 2015 Champion

My clubs arrived yesterday afternoon.  Before I go out to dirty them up today I want to thank you for the great iron fitting experience.  You did an AWESOME job!!  I’m sure part of the experience was that I was the only person being fitted and I received all of your attention.  However, I really appreciated the way that you went through the process to make sure I received the best possible club matched for my game.  You just didn’t hand me a club and say that it was the best for my game.  I also appreciated that you compared the performances of the different clubs and explained that to me as we went along.

I felt that your organization and follow up skills were stellar.  You had a game plan.  You explained the game plan.  You did exactly what you said you were going to do.  You were very professional.  Thanks again for an INCREDIBLE club fitting experience. – Roy Robbins 2014 Champion

As this was my second year in a row winning the Wilson Challenge, I decided to get fitted for a Driver this time around, as last year I was fitted for/received Tour FG Tour F5 irons.  My experience last year and this year, from beginning-to-end, was stellar.  I was contacted by and dealt with Brad Syslo, who was also heavily involved in the Driver vs Driver competition.  He is an up-front/honest/knowledgeable guy that tells it like it is, which is hugely important when it comes to golf fitting.  I was offered the opportunity to fit for and receive the new “Driver vs. Driver” model that was due to release to the public on November 25.

I went into the fitting and brought along my current Cobra AMP Driver that I had recently put an aftermarket shaft into.  The new shaft had warranted me some more distance but, not too much different than my previous one.  I liked the feel of my Driver and would have been just as happy using it next year.  I had become accustomed to being a low-ball flight player off the tee and did not think there was anything I could really do other than adjust loft.  However, after going through the fitting process, I learned that there were many adjustments that could be made to aid in my ball flight.  After just 25 mins, I started hitting the ball with tour-like launch angle/spin numbers.  Brad took the time to give me some swing pointers as well, which I was able to adjust on the fly and aid in the achieving those numbers as well.

As most know about the recent issues with USGA conforming guidelines on the Driver, Brad and Wilson contacted me before I had to reach out to them to let me know I would be taken care of.  I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had dealing with Wilson Sporting Company.  Winning this experience through the Wilson Cup has improved my game, it’s a no brainer to get in the contest. – Vic Lowensten 2015 & 2016 Champion
