2020 Ruffled Feathers Results

Andrew Wilson took the top spot in the Championship Flight with a 2-over-par (74). He trailed Ollie Sadiq, a Milwaukee Tour member who placed second with a 4-over-par (76), 38-36 heading into the back nine. Sadiq’s advantage extended to three on hole No. 10 but Wilson battled back — cutting the lead by one stroke on the 12th and 13th holes before knotting up the score at 64 with a par on hole No. 15. Wilson took a two-stroke lead a hole later, in which he held as the round concluded. Connor Tierney, of the Tampa Tour, edged Nick Lanas by one stroke, 79-80, for third. Tony Rubino rounded out the top-5 with an 86. 

John Mauck used pars on the final two holes to finish two strokes ahead of Alex Freeman, 76-78, and capture the A Flight win. The two were tied at 40 entering the back nine. They traded leads four times before Mauck went up one on the 17th hole — he extended the lead by another stroke on the final hole. Eric Stevenson and Rich Haas finished in a two-way tie for third (79) while Jacob Cobb, a Milwaukee Tour member, placed fifth (82). 

Claudia Wciorka earned the B Flight victory with a playoff win over Nancy Hatten. The two were knotted up at 80 heading into the playoff. Both players made a birdie on the round. Peter Wawire and Marcello Motta De Castro tied for third (81) while Tim Fyfe and Tom Walton, of the Milwaukee Tour, both carded an 83, tying for fifth.

The C Flight also saw a playoff, in which Christian Pablo won over Wally Bromberek. The two were tied at 83 entering the playoff. Rich Stoker and Phil Ardelean both shot an 84, finishing in a two-way tie for third (84) while three players tied for fifth (86): Michael Prepelica, Chris Bilba and Steve Dani.

Bryan LaFave, a Milwaukee Tour member, took the win in the D Flight with a 92. He made two birdies on the round. Shep Ellis and Tyrone Quinones tied for second (96) while Ed Mallett carded a 98, good for fourth.
