2020 Westfields Results

Chris Lamb captured the Championship Flight win with a 4-over-par (75). Adam Miller placed second (80) while Ryan Polk carded an 82, good for third. All three players made two birdies on the round.
David Knorr won a playoff against Rich Geren in the A Flight. Knorr trailed Geren by one stroke, 39-38, heading into the back nine. That gap extended to three strokes until Knorr made birdies on four of the next five holes. Geren’s par on hole number 16 knotted the two up, which resulted in the playoff after both finished with 76. David Pongrace and Beau Sundberg tied for third with scores of 77. Sundberg made an eagle on the round.
It took two playoff holes for a winner to be determined in the B Flight. Steve Ogletreeearned the win with a par on the second extra hole. The two were knotted up at 79 entering the playoff. Ogletree made four birdies, all on the back nine, to help force the extra play. David Pitt and LC Cheeks tied for third (81) while Imee Stackhouse and John Smith both carded an 83, tying for fifth.
Matthew Spina made shots down the stretch to capture the C Flight win (84). He made three birdies on the round and edged both Esdras Garcia and JD Word by one stroke. Three players carded an 87, tying for fourth: Milton Tyrrell, Darin Sams and James Briggs.
The D Flight was won by Shawn Doyle, who outlasted both Dave Shugart and Zachary Shugart 93-94. Jerald Lewis placed fourth (98) while Dave Phillips and Richard Harris finished in a two-way tie for fifth (99).
