Adams Pointe Championship

We had another great turnout at Adams Pointe with 41 players showing up, and some first time winners this past weekend!

Championship flight winner and first time player Andy Mitchell carded a 76 with a birdie on the 18th to get into a playoff with another first timer, Jeff Vineyard.  While multiple champ flight players made the turn at even par or better, everyone seemed to have a hard time finding the speed of the greens on the back nine.  Andy won the trophy on the first playoff hole with a par.

In the A flight, another first timer for the Kansas tour, Scott Cruz carded a solid 78 to take home the trophy.  Cruz bettered RJ Trumbly by 2 strokes for the win.

In the B flight, Eric Sock finally joins the winner circle with an impressive 78 including a double bogey on the 18th hole.  Sock was being pressured by veteran and multiple time winner Mike Colombo, but both struggled on the 18th leaving Sock with a 2 stroke victory on an otherwise very impressive round.

In the C flight, veteran Billy Yeager carded an impressive 82 to take the victory by 4 strokes over Sean Porter.  Billy is returning after some injuries and made one heck of a step back into the winner's circle!

D flight went home to first timer David Green who drove all the way from Oklahoma to play!  Thanks David, and we appreciate your sacrifice and service to this county!
