2015 National Championship TV Show

The members of the Orlando Golfweek Amateur Tour enjoyed a day at one of our favorite places--Orange County National.  We played the Crooked Cat course and is was in fantastic condition for us.  Tour rookie Jeff Moritz continued his fine season with a 2 stroke victory over tour veteran John Ward.  He posted 1-under par 71 to Ward's 73.  Tom Dillon was third with 74.  On the senior Championship flight side John Ward's 73 took top honors.  Tal Johnson was next with 77

Mark Farrow took the A flight for the second straight week.  He shot 75.  Eric Hufington (76) and Robin Gomex (77) were 2nd and 3rd.  In the senior A side, Donald Dunivant and Bill Foster tied with 77's and headed back out for a playoff.  Bill's par was good enough to win on he first extra hole.

Mark Klenck put up a nice 78 to take top honors in the B flight as well as the senior B flight.  Jay Freeman and Kevin Robbins were two strokes back with 80's.  Ray Rodriguez was another two shots back on 82.  Kevin also took second in the senior B flight.

Roland Brown was a double winner as his 85 stood up for Golfweek C and Senior C flight victories.  Kenney Brumfield II shot 92 to win D flight by 2 over Chris Shuler.

Congratulations to all the winners.
