Cory Walker (74) Tops John Bessette in Playoff To Win Championship / SrChamp Flights At Rio Pinar

It was a hot, steamy day at Rio Pinar.  As temperatures headed into the 90's, you knoe it was August.  With over three inches of rain in the preceding days leading up to our event, lift, clean & place was the order of the day.  Cory Walker & John Bessette led the way in Championship flight with 74's.  Cory took the top spot on the second hole of the playoff.  Mike Menyhart and Tom Dillon led a group of five players on 75.  Mike Kovaleski, Bill Shufelt and Matt Tickle were the others.  Ryan Huisman continued his dominance in A flight with a 76.  Two strokes back were Donald Dunivant and Depriest Bowers.

In the senior flights, the winners were; Cory Walker, Donald Dunivant, Doug Conklin and George Ricardo in Championship through C flight, respectively.

Only two events remain in the regular season.
