The members of the Orlando Golfweek Amateur Tour played the second event of the season at Harmony Golf Preserve. It was a cool morning that gave way to a sunny spring day.  For the first time on the Orlando tour we used Live Scoring where players were able to keep up with what was going on around the course in real time.  It was easy to use, well liked by the players and will be used at all of our remaining 2017 tournaments.  Jacob Richard won for the second tournament in a row in Championship flight with 74.  Chad Frank took second one stroke back.  On the senior Championship flight side John Ward beat Bil Shufelt in a one hole playoff after both carded 78.

John Marshall took the A flight after a fine round of 74--the only score under 80 in the flight.  On the senior A side, Bill Foster fired 75 for his first win of the season.

Sam Mellor (NCF) won a three way playoff in the B flight after beating Shane McAdams (NCF) and Ray Rodriguez in a playoff.  All posted 84's.  Ray's 84 won the senior B flight.  Rick Whitman won playoffs in the C and senior C flights; beating Brian Mack in Golfweek C and Joe Roas in senior C.

The D flight saw NCF player Robert Russ take a three shot victory over tour veteran Chris Shuler. Russ posted 90, Shuler 93.

Congratulations to all the winners.
