Bogey Hills CC Tournament Recap

The St. Louis Tour concluded its 2019 season in grand fashion with a special invite to Bogey Hills CC. Members were greeted with an amazing golf course, a beautiful day and a venue that is one of a kind! When the final putt rolled in, it was a memorable for everyone and champions were crowned!

Champ Flight

Steve Roberts claimed the tournament title shooting 76 and besting Joe Molitor by 2 shots. Dom Clark took 3rd in his season debut. JD Sabio had a big enough lead to hold onto to the St. Louis Cup and Wilson Scoring Challenge. Joe Molitor took home Rookie of the Year honors.

A Flight

In a dramatic finish, the drama played out on the 18th hole. Harry Oms, was just shy of the green and rolled in a monster birdie putt to put the pressure back on Chad Jones. When his putt slide just by, Oms claimed the tournament title. Oms victory also clinched the St. Louis Cup for Dan Kohnle. Kohnle also took down the Wilson Scoring Challenge and Rookie of the year honors.

B Flight

Kenton McWillams has been knocking on the door of a tournament title for awhile now and his time came at Bogey Hills. McWilliams fired a 79 and was consistent all day long. Second place went to David Watson finishing 3 shots back and third place went to Steve Pyatt. Watson's runner up finish allowed him to take home the St. Louis Cup. It aslo gave him the trifecta, as he won the Wilson Scoring Challenge and took home the Rookie of the Year honors. Congrats on the clean "sweep!"

C Flight

Christian Benavides picked up his first tour victory as he was the only player to break 90 in the C flight. Rob Maguire edged out Brad Reynolds on a scorecard playoff to take home second place honors. Reynolds had a great season and was able to bring home the St. Louis Cup and Wilson Scoring Challenge, while JJ Williams took home Rookie of the Year honors

D Flight

It was another dramatic finish in the D flight, with the champion coming from the Final Foursome! Sudhakar "Suds" Injamuri played a solid round and shot 88 to claim the tournament title. Playing in the Final Foursome, the victory automatically gave Injamuri the St. Louis Cup title! Kenny Jackson claimed the Wilson Scoring Challenge and the Rookie of the Year honors!

It was a fantastic season for the St. Louis members. 100+ members, great tournaments, and friendships formed! We are already near complete with our 2020 schedule, keep an eye out for special membership offers and the schedule to be released soon!
