2020 Crescent Farms Golf Club Results

Mike Flynn took the top spot in the Championship Flight with a 4-over par (76). He made two birdies and 12 pars on the round. “Hot Dog” Dan Kohnle placed second (82) while Ben Bolden carded an 89, good for third. 

Harry Oms earned the A Flight win with a 7-over par (79). Bryan Thomas edged Chad Henry 83-84 for second while Daren Green, of the Eastern NC Tour, placed fourth (85). 

Chris Poetz used a strong first half to take the lead and hold it throughout the round for the B Flight victory. Poetz shot a 38 on the front nine, which included three birdies, and a 43 on the back — finishing two strokes ahead of Christian Benavides, 81-83. Odis Griffin, a Kansas Tour member, placed third with an 84, one stroke better than Steve Grass, who took fourth.

Jeff Schmidt captured the C Flight win Saturday with an 83. Nathan Simler and Scott Nishimura finished in a two-way tie for second (86) while three players tied for fourth (87): Steven Townsley, John Higdon and Zachary Brda. 

Kameron Thomas took the win in the D Flight with a card of 83. Tim Weil placed second (91) while Michael Pittroff rounded out the top-3 with a 96.
