Every member of the Golfweek Amateur Tour receives a free one year subscription to the New GOLFWEEK magazine. That includes both digital and print editions.

To start your subscription, you must fill out the tour application when paying your membership fees. Click here to join the Tour. Please allow 4-6 weeks for for your magazine to arrive.

If you are already a member and have filled out the registration, you can go online here and set up a digital account with the email you signed up with on our website. Or you can use the Golfweek magazine app from iTunes.

As a Golfweek Amateur Tour Member, you will receive membership into a -USGA compliant club through USHandicap.com and issued an official USGA index.

Within 60 days of joining the tour and filling out the 2018 registration, each member will receive an email from USHandicap with instructions on how to sign into your account. You will not be able to access your Silver membership until you receive the confirmation email. Nothing will be mailed, everything will be done via email address.

Woodfin Ridge 2017 Recap

Tysen Sarkela shot an 88 for the top spot in the Championship Flight. He made one birdie and seven pars.

 

Consistent play by James Earnhardt from start to finish earned him first place in the A Flight. He recorded a birdie on the front and two others on the back while paring nine holes. Al Hyjek placed second with a card of 80. Ray Cruz and Andy Murrowfinished in a two-way tie for third (82). There was also a tie for fourth – Jeff Durham and Chris Lombardozzi.

 

Ron Gburek placed first in the B Flight on Saturday with a score of 81. A birdie was the difference-maker between Russell Lamoy and Lewis Davis for second. Lamoy birdied the 15th hole, earning the one-stroke advantage (84-85). Tim Wallace carded an 87, good for fourth.

 

The lone birdie between the top-3 finishers in the C Flight came from Trey Stacey – who took third with an 87 – on the 18th hole. Mitch Green earned the top spot with an 83 while John Simmons edged Stacey for second by one stroke.

 

Greg Minton placed first with a 93 in the D Flight. Tim Schofield edged out Les Schofield by one stroke, 95-96, for second.

 

Our winning Member-Guest team was Mitch Green and John Simmons. We are happy to welcome John as a new member of the Upstate Tour!
