As a Golfweek Amateur Tour Member, you will receive membership into a -USGA compliant club through USHandicap.com and issued an official USGA index.

Within 60 days of joining the tour and filling out the 2019 registration, each member will receive an email from USHandicap with instructions on how to sign into your account. You will not be able to access your Silver membership until you receive the confirmation email. Nothing will be mailed, everything will be done via email address.

Weaver Ridge GC Tournament Recap

The St. Louis and Chicago Tours met in Peoria, IL this past weekend for a preview of what might come at the season ending Midwest AM Cup (TPC Deere Run). The two tours were greeted to a HOT day and players took aim at knocking down some pins! The new Cup Series Standings has been released, check out who did what this past weekend.

Champ Flight

Ben Kilborn (Chicago) continued his great season picking up 3rd tour win in 2019! This time Kilborn got HOT, and fired 33-37-70 for a 2 under par and a 10 shot victory!! Nick Lanas (Chicago) took second while Peter Skiba (Chicago) took home third place honors

A Flight

It was a come from behind victory for Dan Kohnle (St.Louis) as he was down 5 shots at the turn, but rallied to shoot even par on the back and claim a 1 shot victory. Kohnle shot 42-36-78. Second place went to Mark Gilfoffo (Chicago) as he went 37-42-79 and third place went to Grant Murhpy (39-42-81).

B Flight

It was another come fro mbehind victory in the B Flight, as David Bush (Chicago), found himself down 7 shots as he made the turn. After only having made 3 pars on the front, Bush got it rolling at carded 7 on the back en route to a 1 shot victory shooting 45-38-83. Mike McLaughlin (Chicago) took second shooting 44-40-84 and winning the scorecard playoff over David Watson from St. Louis.(41-43-84).

C Flight

It was an improbable Double Eagle that propelled Chet Laskowski (Chicago) to the champions podium! Laskowski made "2" on the Par 5 11th hole!! It was the first double eagle on tour since 2010 (Rob Clarke-Klein Creek)! Laskowski shot 41-42-83 to win by 2 shots. Second place went to Brad Reynolds (St.Louis) shooting 44-41-85 and edging out Joe Denise (Chicago) 39-46-85 on the scorecard playoff.

D Flight

it was an exciting end to the day, with the only playoff of the tournament. After 18 holes Colin Dooley (St. Louis) and Fred Alaimo Sr (Chicago) were deadlocked at 99. They went back to the first tee and played an extra hole to determine the champion and when Dooley rolled his his putt, he won by 1 stroke. It was back to back victories for Dolley! Ed Mallet took home third place carding 53-50-103 and winning the scorecard playoff.
