2019 TEAM Highlands of Elgin Recap

Highlands of Elgin TEAM Tour Recap

The TEAM Tour continued its season, this time making an appearance at the #3 rated Golfweek Magazine course, the Highlands of Elgin. Many golf insiders believe that the Highlands of Elgin is an ideal 2 player best ball course for its mix of risk-reward holes and challenging play. 15 teams took aim at the tournament title.

Much like the Midwest Open, a pair of Milwaukee Tour member/brothers took aim and knocked down some pins. It was the Medina brothers at the Midwest Open, this time it was the Arnold brothers (Eric and Ryan) claiming the hardware.

The Arnold's shot net 61 (33-28) and in the end they still needed a scorecard playoff to win. Also shooting a net 61 was the duo of Dave Czerniak and Rick Pisarczyk. The back nine for the Arnold's was the difference (28 vs 30). For Erick and Ryan it was a bit of redemption, as both placed in the Midwest Open TEAM event, this time they joined forces and brought home the championship.

The next TEAM event will be August 18th at Harborside International. Registration is open now!
