As a Golfweek Amateur Tour Member, you will receive membership into a -USGA compliant club through and issued an official USGA index.

Within 45 days of joining the tour and filling out the 2020 registration, each member will receive an email from USHandicap with instructions on how to sign into your account. You will not be able to access your Silver membership until you receive the confirmation email. Nothing will be mailed, everything will be done via email address.

Thunderhawk Tournament Recap

The Chicago and Milwaukee Golfweek Tours visited ThunderHawk Golf Club as part of the annual crossover series. The Milwaukee Tour took 3 out of the 5 flights to claim the bragging rights!

Champ Flight

Mike Comstock (Chi) went wire to wire, posting a 77 that was good for a 5 shot victory. It was Comstock's first win of 2019 and his day was highlighted by birdies on #3 and #11. Second place went to Peter Skiba (Chi) and third to Keenan Quick (Mil). Ben Kilborn still leads the way in the Chicago Cup while Keenan Quick leads the way in the Milwaukee Cup Standings.

A Flight

Ryan Arnold (Mil) continued his winning ways by winning at ThunderHawk by 1 shot over a talented A Flight field. Arnold, coming off his TEAM victory at the Highlands of Elgin, posted a 77 with two birdies (#1 and #10) to earn the hardware. Bobby Devogolear (Chi) took home second place while Mark Gilloffo (Chi) finished in third. Eric Lee currently leads the Chicago Cup standings while Robert Yurasovich leads the Milwaukee Cup standings.

B Flight

Tim Fyfe's (Chi) roller coaster round ended on a serious high as he edged out the 41 player field to win by 2 shots. Fyfe's round was highlighted by birdies at #14 & #18! Nancy Hatten (Chi) took home second place while tour rookie Chris Omahen (Chi) took home third. Fabio Teso leads the B flight in the Chicago Cup while, Charles Gdowski leads in Milwaukee!

C Flight

Tom Moran (Mil) started out solid, got a little hot, lost it a bit on the back nine, but was able to "right the ship and cruise" to victory at Thunderhawk. Moran eagled the par 5 7th hole en route to victory. Tour Rookie Marcello Motta De Castro (Chi) started his Golfweek career with a second place showing while Chris Inglot (Chi) took home third place. Rick Pisarcyzk leads the Chicago Cup standings while Jeremy Osting leads in Milwaukee

D Flight

Mario Medina (Mil) stepped into the winner's circle for the second time this season, this was the first solo victory, as Mario teamed up with his brother to with the Midwest Open Championship in May. Medina's round was highlighted by a birdie at #8. Second place went to Balvinder Singh (Chi), who has now been promoted to the C Flight as his index is now 18.4! Third place went to Ashley Harrison (Chi). Fred Alaimo SR leads the way in the Chicago Cup race, while Mario Medina leads on the Milwaukee side!

The season is heating up - Turnberry CC is next for Chicago, and Abbey Springs is next for Milwaukee.
