As a Golfweek Amateur Tour Member, you will receive membership into a -USGA compliant club through USHandicap.com and issued an official USGA index.

Within 60 days of joining the tour and filling out the 2019 registration, each member will receive an email from USHandicap with instructions on how to sign into your account. You will not be able to access your Silver membership until you receive the confirmation email. Nothing will be mailed, everything will be done via email address.

Alex Hur - A Flight WInner

2019 Stoneleigh Recap

Michael Flis earned the win in the Championship Flight (81). He made a birdie and nine pars on the round. Chris Cornette placed second with a 90 while David Pongrace finished third (92).

Play was tight in the A Flight between Alex Hur and Scott Kennedy, an Upstate tour member. Kennedy erased a two-stroke deficit on the 10th with a birdie, tying the score at 44. Hur took the lead on the 12th and extended his lead on the 16th and 17th holes before capping off the round with a bogey – earning a one-stroke victory, 77-78. Kennedy matched Hur with three birdies on the day. James Kauffman rounded out the top-3 with an 83. 

Mark Fowler took the top spot in the B Flight with an 84. Stephen Lee placed second (88) while Damon Butler and Imee Stackhouse finished in a two-way tie for third (91). 

Jim Jobson used a strong performance on the back to earn the C Flight. He was knotted up at 44 with Milton Tyrrell heading into the final nine holes. Jobson made three pars and a birdie to cap off the victory with an 86. Tyrrell carded a 92 for second while Don Stackhouse placed third (95). 

Franklin “Shaggy” Brown placed first in the D Flight (95). Shawn Doyle and Dave Phillips both shot a 96, finishing in a tie for second. Zachary Shugart placed third with a 98.
