Tournament Results
Champ Flight - To start our Tour Final, we had an electric round from Eric Haddad going -1 and having a 9 stroke lead going into Day 2. The second day would be all but the same as Eric Haddad would be consistent and take another victory this season finishing with a EVEN PAR (144) for the 2 days.
A Flight - With the season points race up for grabs, it was looking like a great tournament for this flight. After Day 1, it was only a 3 stroke lead for our leaders in the clubhouse. To start Day 2, Jacob Howard would take the lead going -2 on the front nine. With victory in sight, we would see a comeback like we haven’t seen all year. Billy Hinojos would end up taking the victory with a +6 (150) for the 2 days and new flight member Michael Wood Jr. would take 2nd with a +12 (156).
B Flight - After Day 1, we had one player shoot an amazing score but another play would be right behind him. On Day 2, we would see some players make a run for the leader but in the end, his Day 1 lead would be the difference. Amit Lopes would take the victory with a +16 (160) for the 2 days with Gaudencio Pavia taking second with a +21 (165).
C Flight - During Day 1, the leaderboard was changing so much it was hard to keep up. Once it was all said and done, we would have a 4 player tie for first. It was looking like Day 2 was going to be an exciting day and that is exactly what happened. At the turn on Day 2, it ended up being a 2 player tie and came down to the wire to determine a champion. Once all was said and done, we would have our tours first female member take home the victory and also become the first female to win one of our events! Congratulations to Stephanie Ciesilk on the victory shooting a +25 (169) on the weekend. Greg Bennett would take second with a +27 (171) and Chris Rocha taking third with a +30 (174).
D Flight - After the end of Day 1, we would have a tie for first place with one other player right behind by 1 stroke. Being a 2 Day event, anything could happen in this flight and that is surely what happened. On Day 2, it would be one of those players that would have a round to remember and take the victory. New Member, Atimua Migi, would come out and get his first victory on tour with a +21 (165). Rudy Rangel would take second with a +26 (170).
