How the Chase works!
The Chase Cup points will be reset beginning at Gaylord Springs in order to give each of the top 20 players a chance to win the Chase Cup Flight title.
While the points will be reset, however, the seeds will not.
The player who ranks first in the Flight points standingsafter the final regular season event (General's Retreat) will still rank first after the reset.
The player who ranks 20th, will still rank 20th.
Players outside the Top-20 will begin the Chase Cup with 6900 points, minus 20 points down per position.
Points are awarded the same during the first three Single Day events during the Chase Cup, with 450 points to the winners.
At the season-ending two-day major at Greystone, points are awarded as a Triple-Point Tournament, with 1350 going to first place.
The Reset starts players with (x) amount of points and allows them to grow a lead or to come from behind during the playoffs.
Tournament-earned points are added to the Reset points during the Chase Cup Playoffs.
Players that are transferred to a higher flight during the Chase Cup will retain all points unless it exceeds a tie for 5th place.
Here are the Chase Cup points that each player will start with going into PLAYOFFS:
