2019 Pevely Farms Tourney Recap

Pevely Farms Tournament Recap

The St. Louis Tour started the "Playoff Push" at Pevely Farms this past weekend! The humid day made it nice for scoring and the field attacked the course. With only a couple events left, every stroke matters for those St. Louis Cup points!

CHAMP Flight

Lenny Urbas started the day right and finished strong. Urbas shot an even par 36 on the way out and only a couple of hiccup bogeys prevented a clean card. Urbas went on to win by 3 over JD Sabio. Third place went to Joe Molitor. Urbas's day propelled him to the top of Wilson Cup Challenge, while JD Sabio leads the way in both the St. Louis Cup and National Tour Championship Standings.

A Flight

Marco Tallerico turned in the round of the day, shooting an even par 72 highlighted by 4 birdies, to cruise to victory. Second place went to Mac McMillian and third to Harry Oms. Dan Kohnle leads the "trifecta" (Wilson Challenge, St. Louis Cup and National Tour Standings) but his lead is not insurmountable headed into the final couple events of the 2019 season.

B Flight

Another tournament, and another intense afternoon in the B Flight. David Watson had the lead at the turn, only to find a little trouble on 11 and 13, to which Chad Crawford took advantage and played steady to win for the first time on tour this season! Crawfords rounds were highlighted by birdies at 5 & 7. Watson did hold on for 2nd place and Al Delamarter finished in 3rd place. Watson is also leading the "trifecta", but with a lot of holes and points on the table over the final two events, it's up for grabs.

C Flight

All season long JJ Williams and being banging on the champions door, this time he broke through for his first victory of the season with a 1 shot victory! Williams afternoon included 3 birdies (all on the back nine)! Second place went to Christopher Johnson and third to Brad Reynolds. Like previous flights, Reynolds is the player to catch headed into the final events as he leads in the Wilson Challenge, National Tour Standings, and St. Louis Cup.

D Flight

In the D Flight, Jason Harvey was another first time champion this past weekend on the tour. Harvey shot 85 with 10 pars to win by 3 shots over Kenny Jackson and by 4 over "Suds" Injamuri. Linda Bozada has the top spot in the St. Louis Cup and National Tour Standings, while Jackson remained in the top spot in the Wilson Challenge!

Only 2 events left to the 2019! Both events are open to all of the 100+ members. More points, more prize money, and time to grab that St. Louis Cup. Register below!
