The St. Louis Tour’s first local event of the season took place at The Falls Golf Club in OFallon, Missouri. The field was eager to get back on the course and play didn’t disappoint!

Dan Kohnle used a strong front nine to capture the Championship Flight win. He made three birdies in the opening nine holes, heading to the back with a 36 and a six-stroke advantage over Jordan Calandro. Kohnle made shots down the stretch to hold a lead and seal the eventual win over Calandro, 80-81.

A playoff was determined to decide the winner in the A Flight. Justin Ederer and Joel VanHazinga were knotted up at 88 after 18 holes. Ederer came away with the victory in the first playoff hole. David Watson placed third with a 90 while two players tied for fourth with scores of 92: Josh Wheeler and Norm Toon

JC Coleman came away with the B Flight win Sunday with a score of 81. Chris Canfield and Joseph Miller finished in a two-way tie for second (87) while Mark Brouk placed fourth with an 89. Kyle Young rounded out the top-5 with a 90.

Phil Sherer took the top spot in the C Flight with a card of 80. Ed Christiansen, of the Kansas Tour, placed second (88) while three players tied for third (91): Byron Whitlock, Alex Graf and Tyler Cardwell

A second playoff occurred in St. Louis, this time in the D Flight between Terry Cardwell, a Kansas Tour member, Michael Pittroff and Linda Bozada. All three players shot a 95 on the round and Cardwell was the winner of the playoff. Marcus Swinson, of the Kansas Tour, placed fourth (95) while Mark Kohnle shot a 99, good for fifth.
