Tournament Results from May 4th

The Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour played the third tournament of the 2019 Tour Season at Riverfront Golf Club in Suffolk, VA.

The Tidewater Tour had a total of 120 players to participate in this weekends event with alittle wind and 85, a wonderful golf day.

Next up for the Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour will play The Dynamic Air

Championship Cup at Mattaponi Springs Golf Club.

Spruill takes the Victory!

In the Championship Flight, Matthew Spruill earned the victory with a 68, including 7 birdies. Michael Trueworthy placed second with a 71, followed by Dennis Nelson with a 72 for third place, and Jon Coullier took fourth place with a 73.

Wright holds strong for a Even Par Round...

In the A Flight, Allen Wright posted 72 to win by one shot over Roderick Johnson 73, and Michael Mitchell 73. Xerxes Nabong rounded out the Top-4 with his 74.

Brunk wins in a Playoff!

In the B Flight, Kevin Brunk scored a victory after shooting 80 and winning in a Sudden Death Playoff. Nathan Beck, 80 took second, followed by Phillip Horst, Sean Redmond, and Daniel Manferdini who all tied for third with 81.

Tour Rookie Leahy brings home the Victory!

In the C Flight, Craig Leahy posted a 83 to win by two shots over Shane Miller, 85 and Steven Stockton, 85. Rounding out the Top-4, Adam Raifaisen and Chris Spanka who both scored a 87.

Tour Rookie Maitland goes Wire-To-Wire at Riverfront

In the D Flight, Forest Maitland earned his first career victory with a 86, and a two-shot win. Susan Cherry and Joe Harvey tied for second with a 88, followed by Chuck Aardahl with a 90 for fourth place.
