2018 Paris Mountain Recap

Brooks Roberts, of the Myrtle Beach-Wilmington tour, shot a five-over-par for the top spot in the Championship Flight. He made two birdies and 11 pars on the round. 

Bill Gaitanis held a two-stroke lead over Quinton Toler heading into the back. Gaitanis used five pars on the final nine holes to hold the lead and earn the win (78) in the A Flight. Toler, of the Eastern NC tour, shot an 81, one stroke ahead of Rich Revels, who rounded out the top-3. 

Nick Hinton found success on Saturday in the B Flight. He made three birdies and seven pars, en route to an 82 – the flight’s lowest score. Chris Franklin placed second (90) while Bob Santee carded a 93, good for third. 

Erik Wolf, of the Columbia tour, edged out Darren DeCroock, 88-89, for the top spot in the C Flight. Wolf, who trailed DeCroock by three strokes after nine holes, knotted up the score at 69 on the 14th. He then took the two-stroke lead on the 17th and used a bogey on the final hole to seal the victory. Ben McCrickard, of the Eastern NC tour, finished third (93). 

Brent Westbrook earned the win in the D Flight with a 97. Greg Minton placed second (100) while Amble Smoker edged out Benji Raines, 102-103, for third.
