The second new issue is titled Golf Life in July and will feature in-depth stories and interviews with the movers, shakers and personalities that drive the business and sport of golf. We are excited about the new schedule and plan to bring the same style of expert, in-depth journalism that you expect from Golfweek..

Thank you to all players who participated on Monday, September 27th at Jefferson Golf and Country Club! It was a great day for golf at a great course that demanded precision all day. Players battled all day for more hardware and cold hard cash at the Ohio Players Invitational! A grand total of $9,370 was given away in both tournaments!

Championship flight is our first flight of the day. Dustin Fields picks up another win on the year, placing the ball nicely all day, shooting (76). Fields, the champion by four shots over Jeremy Payne, won by a closing (38) on the back nine.

A flight is second. Hyo Seung Lee was our champion, playing solid all day, scoring (76 ) concluding with a birdie on 18. Lee was able to close out the back nine with a solid (38), and won by four shots over Wyatt Esteves & Tom Burlison (80).

Esteves, who finished second, was able to contend to win. Making a total of three birdies, however came up a bit short in the end. Still a solid performance on the day.

Burlison shot (80) as well , finishing a respectable third. Tom wasn't able to keep it close enough going out on the front nine, however, a good score at a tough venue.

B flight witnessed Steve Phillips capture the title in a playoff over Dan Brahm, shooting a solid (82). Phillips was able to play brilliantly all day, making birdies on 7 & 13, and go out at (39) on the front nine, setting the pace to win the championship.

Brahm finished second by way of the playoff, concluding the back nine with birdies on 16 & 18. Eliminating a bad hole or two would have gave Dan the opportunity to win today. Nonetheless, still a solid performance.

Jeff Zipay finished third, shooting (83). Zipay also added a couple birdies, however, a few bad holes diminished his chances of catching Phillips. Still, a solid score on a tough day for golf.

C flight is next. Shea Hartwig (84) captured the title. Hartwig closed out the back nine on fire, shooting (40) with a birdie on 16, clinching the championship by one shot over Jeffery Weisbarth.

Weisbarth was able to card an (85) to finish second. Jeffery played consistent on the back nine but was unable to score well on hole 18, nullifying his chances to win. However, was able to lock his spot in the top three.

Garrett Maynard from the Columbus, OH Tour finished third, shooting (86). Putting himself atop the leader board throughout the day but not able to make any birdies to grab the win. Nonetheless, a solid finish.

D flight is the final group of the day. Ken Zbiegien (91) was able to raise the trophy in the end, winning by three shots over Les Crossfield and capture the title. Zbiegien was able to execute all day, adding a birdie on 14. Solid grinding set himself up to win the championship regardless of a hiccup on 18.

Crossfield (94) finished second. Les was able to put himself at the top of the leader board throughout the day, however, not able to eliminate enough bad holes led to coming up short in the end. Still a solid performance.

Jase Pugh (94) finished third. Pugh was able to put together some good shots throughout the day, adding a birdie on 4. However, a few bad holes knocked him out of contention to catch Zbiegien in the end. Rounding out the top three for the "D" flight at The Ohio Players Invitational.
