On Saturday the Milwaukee Golfweek Amateur Tour wrapped up the regular season with a trip to Morningstar Golf Club. It was the last time to earn points for the Border Battle as well as grab some points for the Milwaukee Cup.

In the Champ Flight, Joe Thom continued his reign with another victory.  Jarvis Brown took home second place.  Thom will look to close out the season in "Grand" style at Lake Geneva on September 23rd.

In the A flight, Chicago Tour member Peter Skiba and Milwaukee member Paul Langhenry entered into a sudden death playoff to earn the right to take home the hardware.  After 2 holes, Langhenry rolled in a par putt to win the tournament. Both players have been playing well as of late and there's a strong possibility that they may see each other again in the upcoming Border Battle. Phil Webb took home third place.  Aaron Meyers leads the Milwaukee Cup race headed into Geneva National.

In the B Flight, Charles Gdowski earned his first victory on tour winning by two shots.  Bob Peterson took home second place while Jim Carroll and Mike Aschberger tied for third.  Aschberger is the front runner in the Milwaukee Cup - can anyone catch him?

In the C Flight, Brad Strange was the player of the day!  Shooting his best round on tour (and of his life) he crushed the C Flight field winning by 8 shots and carding a 79!  Well done! Todd Kurtz took home second and Chad Kulpa and Bill Stengrevics tied for third. Eric Arnold is the "clubhouse leader" in the Milwaukee Cup, but rumor has it he may not be able to play in the season finale?

In the D Flight, Mike Colburn also won for the first time on tour.  Colburn shot 93 to take home the title.  Roger Lafave took home second place and with that edged out into the lead of the Milwaukee Cup with Kirk Tessendorf close behind.

The season will wrap up with the Milwaukee Tour Championship on Sunday September 23 at Geneva National Golf Club.  The Milwaukee Cup champions will be crowned - who will they be?
