As a Golfweek Amateur Tour Member, you will receive membership into a -USGA compliant club through and issued an official USGA index.

Within 60 days of joining the tour and filling out the 2018 registration, each member will receive an email from USHandicap with instructions on how to sign into your account. You will not be able to access your Silver membership until you receive the confirmation email. Nothing will be mailed, everything will be done via email address.

Augusta Golfweek Amateur Tour

The Augusta Amateur Tour is in Full Swing!!!

The next tournament will be at Applewood Golf Club in Keysville, GA on Saturday, May 26th at 9:30 am and will have a shotgun start.  Cost for the event is $75 and may be paid on line or at the course. If you are interested in playing competitive golf with people of your same skill level, if you would like to play some great courses in Georgia and South Carolina, and if you are intersted in making some new golfing buddies, consider joining the Augusta Golfweek Amateur Tour.  For additional information, contact tour director Phil Robinson at 706-414-1170 or e-mail Phil Robinson at

Woodside Tournament Results

The Augusta Golfweek Amateur Tour had a tournament at Woodside Plantation in Aiken, SC on Saturday, May 12th.  The course was outsanding, the competition was fierce, and a good time was had by all.  Here are the results.

Champ Flight: Augusta tour veteran Steve Kubik got back to his winning ways and shot an outstanding 2 over 74 (2 birdies) for the win.  Right on his heels was new tour player Jordan Salley win an 80 (3 birdies).  Matt Peavler, another 1st year Augusta tour member, took 3rd with 91 (1 birdie).

A Flight: In the A Flight, Bernie Dailey, visting from the Birmingham tour, shot 83 from the blue tees for the win.  Steady Eddie Chris Rogers shot another solid round of 84 (1 birdie) for 2nd. Ted Turner and Chet Dye both shot 87 (1 birdie and 2 birdies, respectively) and tied for 3rd.

B Blight: In the hottly contest B Flight, Kyle Foxworth of the Columbia Tour took first in and on course playoff over Don Pennigton.  Both shot 81. 3rd place was awarded to Danny Booher in a scorecard playoff over Dominio Strom. Both shot 82. There was a 4 way tie for 5th between John Crounse, Jim McGee, Kipp Neikirk, and MItch Quarles who all shot 83.  Man this flight was tight!!!!     

C Flight:  C Flight points leader Scott Wilson of the Augusta tour got his 3rd win of the season with a solid 86 (1 birdie). 1st year Augusta tour play Evan Lenio was not far behind with 89 for 2nd place.  Another 1st year Augusta tour player, David Biggs, shot 90 (1 birdie) for 3rd.

D Flight: In the D flight David Schmidt made a triumphant return and took 1st place with a solid 90.  Tour veteran Jimmy Rivers took 2nd with 96 (1 birdie).  D Flight points leader Doug Bailey shot 103 (2 birdies) for 3rd place.
