As the sands of the Sahara blew overhead and created a hazy sky, 63 golfers converged on Hot Springs Village - Granada Golf Club for some exciting golf. 2 Flights went to playoffs and 2 more flights weren't decided until the final holes.

The Champ flight was won with the biggest margin of victory as Lee Sanders (74) won by 4 strokes over Ben Starsky (78).

The A Flight saw Mike Norwood (78) and Matt Davies (78) play the 18th hole 3 times and then move to the 10th hole as Mike outlasted Matt to take home the trophy. Finishing 3rd was Scott House (80).

The B flight saw more excitement in a playoff as Todd Erwin (80) and Kirby Rogers (80) batteld for 3 holes before Todd took card of business on the 3rd hole. James Colgrove (84) was 3rd.

While not going to extra holes, the C flight had not less drama as Paul Golden (85) came to the difficult 18th hole with a 2-stroke lead over Louisiana visitor, Chase Haynes (86). Paul was able to bogey the final hole to hang on for his 2nd local victory in a row. Scott Walston (86) lost the cardoff and finished 3rd. In the last of the paid places in the C Flight, Vic Werner shot an 88 for 4th place.

In the D flight, the drama was not quite as intense as Jeff Corder (87) took his 2nd victory in a row over Leisa Watkins (89). Daryl Perry (92) came in 3rd with a much improved round. Loren Clemens (93) rounded out the paid places in the D flight in 4th place.
