Thank you to all players who participated this past Sunday at Harbor Links Golf Club! It was a hot day for golf but there were some hot scores posted, on a challenging golf course at Sagamore Resort. A course that demanded shot execution all day. Players battled the humidity for a right to hoist the crown at our 12th official tournament of the season.

Championship flight is our first flight of the day. Matt Sander was able to place the ball nicely all day, adding a birdie to shoot (77). Making Sander the champion by one stroke over Tanner Giles.

Giles finished second and played brilliantly as well, shooting (78), with two birdies on the day. Tanner put himself in position to win but unable make enough birdies to catch Sander in the end. Nonetheless, a solid finish coupled by a solid round.

Peyton Houston finished third with a respectable (79). Houston was able to grab two birdies, however, not enough to contend for the win. Regardless, a solid round on a hot day for golf.

A flight is second. Kevin Dick won his second tournament in a row, playing solid all day, scoring (77) and adding two birdies. Kevin was able to roll in a clutch 18 foot birdie putt on the final hole to clinch the championship. After calling his shot Babe Ruth style, declaring
"I think I'll go ahead and knock this in", the ball hit the bottom of the hole, sealing the deal. The win was by one shot over Jon Clinard (78).

Clinard, who finished second, was able to contend to win. However, only able to make one birdie on the day led to coming up a bit short in the end. Still a solid performance on the day.

Ryan Ennis shot (79), finishing a respectable third. Ennis was able to drop one birdie on the day. However, unable to make enough, knocking him out of contention to win. Still, a good score at a tough venue.

B flight witnessed Mike Cronin capture the title in closing fashion. Shooting a solid (81). Cronin was able to play brilliantly all day, making two birdies and holding all players at bay to win the championship by five shots. "Solid ball striking with my irons got me into a position to win today" said Cronin. "I was happy to be able to finish strong".

Indianapolis, Indiana Tour Director Amalaraj Irudayaraj finished second, playing consistently all day, making two birdies. Eliminating a bad hole or two would have had Amalaraj in serious contention to win today. Nonetheless, still a solid performance battling the humidity. Thanks for joining us today sir! We look forward to cooperating with you in the future!

Red hot Michael Anderson finished third, shooting (88). Anderson also played consistent most of the day, making two birdies as well. However, a few bad holes diminished his chances of catching Cronin. Still, a solid score on a tough day for golf.

C flight is next. Shea Hartwig also won his second tournament in a row, Hartwig, able to match the heat and come out on fire, shot (85), clinching the championship by five shots with a solid performance all day.

Jose Taule was able to card an (90) to finish second. Taule played consistent most of the day but was unable to go low enough to win. However, was able to lock his spot in the top three for the tour's 12th tournament of the season.

Ian Herzog finished third, shooting (92). Putting himself atop the leader board throughout the day but not close enough to contend to win. Nonetheless, a solid finish.

D flight is the final group of the day. Kaleb Mason (89) was able to raise the trophy in the end, separating himself from the rest of the field, winning by five shots and capturing the title. This is Mason's first championship of the year, making it a special day. Kaleb was able to execute all day, setting himself up to win the championship in cruise control. Congratulations on your first win Kaleb! Hopefully the first of many!

Michael Didion (94) finished second. Didion was able to put himself at the top of the leader board throughout the day, however, not able to eliminate enough bad holes led to coming up short in the end. Still a solid performance.

Eric Combs (96) finished third, following the win at Sugar Valley. Combs, was able to put together some good shots throughout the day. However, a few bad holes knocked him out of contention to catch Mason in the end. Rounding out the top three for the "D" flight at Harbor Links Golf Club.

Thank you to all players who came out and contributed to an awesome day at a great course, continuing the chase to Hilton Head!
