Thank you to all players who participated this past Saturday at Brown's Run Golf Club! It was a great day for golf at a great course that demanded precision all day. Players battled all day for more hardware and cold hard cash at our 14th official tournament of the season.

Championship flight is our first flight of the day. Dustin Fields wins for the second consecutive tournament, placing the ball nicely all day, adding two birdies on the front nine to shoot (77). Fields the champion by winning in a playoff over Ryan Groff, won on the second playoff hole.

Groff finished second and played brilliantly on the back nine, shooting (33), with three birdies (77). Ryan put himself in position to win but his chances were cut short on the second playoff hole. Nonetheless, a solid finish coupled by a solid back nine.

Dorian Vauls finished third with a respectable (78). Vauls was able to grab two birdies on 1 & 2, however, not enough to contend for the win. Regardless, a solid round on a great day for golf.

A flight is second. Alex Burch is in the winners circle, playing solid all day, scoring (75 ) and adding three birdies on 1, 5 & 6. Burch won by one shot over Kevin Teft (76).

Teft, who finished second, was able to contend to win. Making a total of five birdies on the day. However came up a bit short in the end. Still a solid performance on the day.

Cade Kienle shot (77), finishing a respectable third. Kienle was able to drop two birdies on the day on 1 & 16. However, unable to eliminate a bad hole on 10 knocked him out of contention to win. Still, a good score at a tough venue.

B flight witnessed Mike Cronin capture the title in dramatic fashion, winning in a playoff, Shooting a solid (83). Cronin was able to play brilliantly all day, making birdies on 2 & 7. However, hiccups on 6 & 13 brought him back to the field, but was able to hold on in the end to win the championship in a playoff over Warren Hodges and Nathan Weidner (83's).

Weidner finished second, playing consistently all day, making a birdie on 2. Eliminating a bad hole or two would have had Nathan in serious contention to win today. Nonetheless, still a solid performance.

Warren Hodges finished third, shooting (83) as well. Hodges also played consistent most of the day, making a birdie on 12. However, a few bad holes diminished his chances of catching Cronin. Still, a solid score on a tough day for golf.

C flight is next. Chad Carter from the Columbus, OH Tour captured the title. Carter, came out on fire, shooting (84) with birdies on 7 & 13, clinching the championship in a playoff over Bob Parisi.

Parisi was able to card an (84) to get into the playoff and finish second. Bob played consistent most of the day but was unable to go low enough on the back nine to win. However, was able to lock his spot in the top three for the tour's 14th tournament of the season, adding a pair of birdies on 1 & 13.

Arnie Turner finished third, shooting (85). Putting himself atop the leader board throughout the day but not close enough to contend to win. Nonetheless, a solid finish.

D flight is the final group of the day. Gary Hedges from the Columbus, OH tour (85) was able to raise the trophy in the end, separating himself from the rest of the field, winning by three shots and capturing the title. Hedges was able to execute all day, adding a birdie on 5, setting himself up to win the championship on cruise control.

Greg Thornton (88) finished second. Thornton was able to put himself at the top of the leader board throughout the day, adding a birdie on 1. However, not able to eliminate enough bad holes led to coming up short in the end. Still a solid performance.

David Hall (95) finished third. Hall, was able to put together some good shots throughout the day. However, a few bad holes knocked him out of contention to catch Hedges in the end. Rounding out the top three for the "D" flight at Brown's Run Golf Club.

Thank you to all players who came out and contributed to an awesome day at a great course, continuing the chase to Hilton Head!
