Our fourth tournament of the season, the OIAG Classic, comes to us from Four Bridges Country Club. This Robert Cupp design proved to be an unpredictable challenge. The club brought us fast and hard conditions that were not easily tamed.

The Champ Flight continued our trend of first time winners seeing tour newcomer Matt Green (Cincinnati Tour) capture the victory with an impressive round of one over 73, which included five birdies. Points leader, Matt Sander (Cincinnati Tour), continued his fine play for the year finishing second with a 76. Peyton Houston (Cincinnati Tour) took third with a 77 and Dustin Fields (Cincinnati Tour) was fourth with a 78.

In the A Flight, points leader Kory Hemm (Cincinnati Tour) nailed down his second victory of the season shooting an 81 while holding off James Heath (Kentucky Tour) who was second with an 82. Ryan Slone (Cincinnati Tour) took third with an 84. Brandon Arkle (Cincinnati Tour) and Jeff Beasel (Columbus OH Tour) tied with 85’s. Arkle won the scorecard playoff securing fourth.

Next up was the B Flight. Nathan Weidner (Cincinnati Tour) used two birdies to shoot an impressive 77 to win by five shots. Matthew Sato (Cincinnati Tour) and Stephen Norlock (Cincinnati Tour) each shot rounds of 82 with Sato taking second after a scorecard playoff. Tim Roberts (Cincinnati Tour) was fourth with an 83.

The C Flight saw a former multiple winner in D Flight, David Hall (Cincinnati Tour), make fast work of his flight promotion shooting a 79 to take first. Looks like those lessons from Coach Dick are paying off! Assistant Director Brian Lane (Cincinnati Tour) nabbed second with an 84. Austin Tielke (Cincinnati Tour) was third with an 85. Ian Herzog (Cincinnati Tour) and Robert Ward (Cincinnati Tour) tied with rounds of 86. Herzog took fourth after a scorecard playoff.

In the D Flight tour rookie, Jeremy Kash (Cincinnati Tour), blew away the field winning with an unbelievable round of 83. Welcome to B Flight Jeremy! David Donnelly (Cincinnati Tour) finished second with a 92. Greg Thorton (Cincinnati Tour) and Robert Wilson (Cincinnati Tour) tied with 97’s. Thorton got third after a scorecard playoff.

In the Senior Tour Division we begin with the A Flight. Tour veteran, James Snyder (Cincinnati Tour), fired a 77 to capture his second victory of the season. He was able to hold off Greg Hahn (Cincinnati Tour) and John Dicker (Cincinnati Tour) who finished tied with fine rounds of 78. Hahn took second after a scorecard playoff. David Lutey (Cincinnati Tour) took fourth with an 81.

In the B Flight, a sudden death playoff on the scenic 18th hole saw Ron Kieslich (Cincinnati Tour) lock down his first victory over Arnie Turner (Cincinnati Tour) after they both finished in a tie at 85. Darrel Brandenburg (Cincinnati Tour) was third with an 87.

In the C Flight Rick Gordon (Columbus OH Tour) held on for the win firing an 84. Columbus OH Tour Director, Butch Novak, was second with an 87. Jose Taule (Cincinnati Tour) took third with a 90.

Last up is the D Flight. Another sudden death playoff. Mickey Ward (Kentucky Tour) was able to defeat Tim Bunker (Cincinnati Tour) after they both tied with rounds of 98.
