WINCHESTER COUNTRY CLUB WINNERS
Well, the weather and Mother Nature finally cooperated with us on April 15th. After two tournaments where we fought through frigid temperatures and up to 40mph winds, we had a beautiful day to play a spectacular course!! Hats off to Robbie Baldwin and Winchester Country Club on having the course in great shape with greens that were pure and rolling great!! This was a great tournament and three of the five flight coming down to the last hole. As always, we want to thank our “Trophy Sponsor”, The Gilliam Firm, PLLC for providing our winners with some nice hardware once again! Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to all that played.

CHAMP FLIGHT WINNER-ANDREW BUSE
Andrew, as Andrew always is, was steady and played well throughout the day. Never having big numbers and when he might have bogeyed, he would get it right back with a follow up birdie. Just a nice leisurely stroll on a beautiful day and an even par score of 72. Congratulations Andrew!
A FLIGHT WINNER-TREY COURTNEY
With his second win of the year in as many tournaments, this one came right down to the last hole. While after 9 holes four players were all within one shot of each other after Trey holed out for Eagle from 120 yards on hole #8, the back nine was not as kind to a couple players and it became a two-person race to the finish with Trey edging out our other winner on the year Chau Tran on the last hole.

B FLIGHT WINNER-CRAIG PALMER
A brand-new tour member and knowing the course well, Craig came out of the gate strong and played very well on the first nine holes, being under par on the front nine. His second nine wasn’t as clean but still very steady and went on to shoot a great score to win his very first tournament with the KY Golfweek Amateur Tour.

C FLIGHT WINNER-TANNER MANNING
Tanner is also a new member this year and recorded his first tour victory with a very solid round. As it became a two-person race on the back nine both Tanner and Jeff Rollyson were back and forth throughout the back side and with it coming down to the last hole Tanner prevailed and held on to a one stroke victory!!

D FLIGHT WINNER-BEN BROWNE
In just his third tournament ever, Ben held on to win after he and Tyler Martin were tied going to the last hole. The whole round was close between all the flight player with Ben and Tyler jumping out in front on the last few holes. Ben went to the final hole one stroke back and proceeded to birdie the whole with Tyler bogeying and Ben pulled out the one stroke victory…clutch play!
