This season long
points competition is set up much like the PGA Tour's FedEX Cup.
The Mpls/St. Paul Tour members that have the most Mpls/St. Paul points in
each of the five flights at the end of our season will win the Foehse Hardwood Cup
crystal trophy plus more prizes.
Minneapolis/St. Paul Cup Rules:
- Only Minneapolis/St. Paul Amateur Golf Tour members
can compete for the Foehse Hardwood Cup.
- Only tournament points made from Mpls/St. Paul Tour events will count towards the Foehse Hardwood Cup. If you play in
another Amateur Golf Tour event outside of our tour, those points will
count toward qualifying for the Amateur Golf Tour National Finals in
Hilton Head, but not for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Foehse Hardwood Cup.
- If you happen to be moved or change
flights during our Minneapolis/St. Paul Tour season, all Mpls/St. Paul Tour points
accumulated will move with you. Your Foehse Hardwood Cup points total maybe different than those
posted at the National site due to the National rules. This "Foehse Hardwood Cup" points rule will be at the Mpls/St. Paul Tour Directors discretion so
members cannot purposely overtake others in another flight.
- Foehse Hardwood Cup Bonus Points will be
given to members who finish first in their flight at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Tour
Finals two day event. This will insure
a competitive Foehse Hardwoos Cup race right to the end of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Tour
season.
