2020 Gateway National Results

It took until the 18th hole for a winner to be determined in the Championship Flight. Brad Kushner held a three-stroke lead over John Todd entering the back nine. Todd used birdies on the 10th and 13th holes to knot up the score at 54 a piece. Both players pared the next four holes before Kushner birdied the final hole to earn the 72-73 win. Andrew Haley edged Mike Flynn by one stroke, 76-77, for third. Marco Tallerico rounded out the top-5 with an 80.

Timmy Hill pared the 18th hole Sunday to earn the A Flight win. He trailed Harry Oms by two strokes, 39-37, heading into the back nine. However, three holes in, Hill turned the deficit into a one-stroke advantage. Oms tied up the score at 55 with a par on hole 13 and the two matched each other’s scores the next four holes until Hill’s victory sealing par, 73-74. Tim Mayer rounded out the top-3 with an 80. 

Zach Bryan took the top spot in the B Flight with a 6-over-par (77). Chris Poetz placed second (81) while David Watson edged Albert Delamarter for third, 83-84. All three players made a birdie on the round. 

Christopher Johnson made two birdies and nine pars Sunday, en route to a 7-over-par (78) and the C Flight victory. Zachary Brda carded an 81, good for second, while three players tied for third (83): Vince Hulett, Dave Parker and Robert Wilson. 

Kameron Thomas earned the win in the D Flight with a score of 92. Russell Hollenbeck, Jason Harvey and Colin Dooley all shot a 98, tying for second. Marty Ganz rounded out the top-5 with a 110.
