BIG Thank You to Drew and the team at X-Golf for sponsoring this 2-Day Major at The Falls Golf Club. It was a great weekend for golf and here are your winners...

Champ Flight - Justin Towell

Justin Towell, a rookie on the scene, showcased sheer determination and hunger for success after narrowly missing out on victory in the season opener. In a showdown against last year's points champion, Chris Pestka, Justin left no stone unturned.

With nerves of steel, Justin fired an impressive 76 in both rounds, distancing himself from Pestka and clenching his maiden trophy on the St. Louis Golfweek Amateur Tour.

A stellar performance from Justin, proving that persistence and grit can lead to sweet triumphs on the course. Congratulations on a well-deserved win!

A Flight - John Wooden

John Wooden, a fresh face on the tour this year, made quite the debut in his inaugural tournament. After a solid start with an 85 on day one, trailing by just five strokes, John stepped up his game on day two.

With precision and skill, John delivered an impressive 80, the lowest round of the day in the A flight. His stellar performance propelled him to victory in his very first tournament attempt.

What a remarkable way for John to kick off his career on the Golfweek Amateur Tour. A memorable start indeed!

B Flight - Scott Nishimura

Scott Nishimura, a seasoned veteran on the tour, had his sights set on capturing his 12th career victory. Facing stiff competition from emerging talents in the B flight, Scott knew he had to bring his A-game.

Despite battling challenging winds on the first day, Scott managed a commendable 87, trailing the leader by just two strokes. Undeterred, he dug deep on day two, displaying true grit and determination. With unwavering focus, Scott powered through the adverse conditions and delivered a solid 84.

His relentless effort paid off handsomely as he secured his second career major and notched his 12th victory on tour. A truly gutsy performance from the formidable Scott Nishimura, showcasing his resilience and skill on the course.

C Flight - Jeff Schmidt

Jeff Schmidt showcased his seasoned skills at the recent tournament, delivering a stellar performance that solidified his status as a force to be reckoned with on the course. After a strong start with an 87 in the first round, Jeff maintained his momentum despite challenging winds on day two, posting a 94. However, his lead was threatened by Ron Allen, who pushed for a tie and forced a playoff. In a display of resilience, Jeff emerged victorious, claiming his second career Major and seventh tournament win. This triumph earns Jeff a promotion to the B flight, signaling his ascent to new heights on the Golfweek Amateur Tour. Congratulations, Jeff, on a well-deserved win, and best wishes as you continue to elevate your game.

D Flight - Tom Pursley

Tom showcased his potential for greatness after a solid start at the season opener. With determination in his eyes, he embarked on a quest for his inaugural career win. A blazing 95 in the first round set the stage, marking him as one of the standout performers of the day. But Tom was just getting started.

In round two, he elevated his game even further, finishing with a commendable 94 to tie with John Skaggs. The tension soared as they headed to the playoff hole, but it was Tom Pursley who emerged triumphant, clinching his first career victory on the Golfweek Amateur Tour.

A momentous achievement for Tom, signaling his ascent to the next level of his golfing journey.
