The Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour took to Stonehouse Golf Club in Toano, VA for the Year's Second Major the Wealth Avenue Players Championship. Thanks to our Tournament Sponsor Zeus Nabong of Wealth Avenue. The tournament brought some wonderful conditions on Saturday, and turned the page on Sunday with really tough winds, and rain all day. With a field of 104 players on the course for the Players Championship. Congrats to all the Flight winners and Day Money winners.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS SHOULD BE POSTED ON MONDAY

In the Championship Flight, Dennis Nelson (72-76) won by six strokes over Matthew Spruill (74-80). Nelson went Wire-to-Wire to win his first tournament of the 2024 Tour Season. Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Mike Hartselle (77-80). 

In the A Flight, Thomas Dobrick (78-78) won in a sudden death playoff over Tim Middleton (77-79). Coming in third was Alex Hur (79-81), and Tied for fourth was, Michael Leona (81-81), and Allen Wright (81-81). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Marcus Godinez (82-81), and Bords Alingig (79-84).

In the B Flight, Michael Murphee (78-94) won in a sudden death playoff over Mike Fleming (86-86). Coming in tied for third was Mike Hale (90-86), and Bob Nipp (87-89). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Bill Glab (87-90), Johnny Bobby Ford (90-88), and Brian Harden (91-89).

In the C Flight, Nick Humbert (79-86) won Wire-to-Wire over Aaron Lorenz (82-88). Coming in tied for third was Guy Briesacher (91-85). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Donovan Mahiai (90-87), Brad Yetley (90-87), Bobby Eckel (87-90) and Tom Fitzsimmons (91-88).

In the D Flight, Jamall Garrett (87-92) won Wire-to-Wire over Will Spittle (93-96). Coming in third was Roe Harris (91-102). Rounding out the Tournament Prizes was Maguel Brooks (95-102), Glen Sweitzer(92-105), Darrell Bruce (102-99) and Keith Miller (103-105).
