The Championship Flight winner is no stranger to winning tournaments. John Nesbitt has been moving up in flights and taking home trophies throughout the season. After winning for the first time this year in the C Flight at Lake Presidential, John moved to the B Flight where he earned first place at Whiskey Creek. With two first place finishes at Rock Harbor and Musket Ridge, he then moved up to the Championship Flight. Now as a Championship player, John won at Maryland National with a score of 75. Second place in this flight was Devon Hayes who shot a score of 80 in his very first tournament with the DC Metro Tour.

A Flight member Jason Aud had a great round scoring a 74. Although this was only his third tournament, it certainly didn’t show on the course. Jonathan James came in second place with a 76. Taking third and fourth place were two visitors from other tours, Alex Hargaden from Tampa carded a 79 followed by Tidewater member Roger Munoz with an 83.

There was a close race in the B Flight this weekend! Damian Williams hoisted the trophy after his round of 81. Right behind him was Guru Sethupathy who scored an 82. Both Montez Murray and Steve D’Ambrosio shot an 83 making this the tightest competition of the day.

Dorinda Pastorek won her third tournament in the C Flight. After shooting an 85 and beating Winston Cox by one stroke, Dorinda will be moving up to the B Flight! Mike Lenett finished third with a score of 92.

D Flight winner Brian Granville was thrilled with his round. Not only did he take first place with a score of 87, it was his first time taking home the trophy since prior to Maryland National the highest he placed was second at Musket Ridge. Eric Martell wasn’t far behind with an 89. Third place went to new member, Sunny Balu with a score of 93.
