Tournament Results
Champ Flight - This flight would have a battle on thier hands with four players UNDER PAR after Day 1. That included 21 BIRDIES and 2 EAGLES for Day 1 in this flight. On Day 2 we would see a battle happening throughout the day and a Playoff Hole was needed to determine our champion. Ryan Kimbrell would clinch the title with a Two Day TOTAL of EVAN PAR (144), making this his 2nd MAJOR Victory of the season. Securing the second place after the playoff was Grant Taylor.
A Flight - Following closely, the A Flight featured familiar faces along with a battle that we saw happen both days. After Day 1 we would have four stroke difference seperating the leaders, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion. On Day 2 we would see consistent play from most of the field, and avoiding our second playoff of the day, we would have a champion. Jonathan Miller would claim the victory with a TOTAL of +23 (167) score making this his 2nd Victory of the season.
B Flight - As usual, the B Flight offered battle until the end. After Day 1 would end with three players having amazing rounds and two of them tied for the lead, But the rest of the field was right behind and wanting to complete that comeback. Day 2 it would come down to the wire and avoiding another possible playoff for the tournament. Jordan Morrow would claim the championship with a TOTAL of +14 (158) score, marking this his 2nd Victory this season. Securing the second place was Jared Lanham, with a total of +15 (159).
C Flight - The C Flight had the entire field in contention with five players within five stroke of the leader after Day 1. We would then see a battle between three players for most of the round, until the last 2 holes that would make the difference. Brian Browning would claim the championship with a TOTAL of +15 (159) and making it his 2nd MAJOR Victory of the season, and stopping the impressive run by Amit Lopes who would end up taking second with a total of +18 (162). WITH THIER AMAZING PLAY, BOTH PLAYERS EARNED A PROMOTION TO B FLIGHT!!!
D Flight - Concluding the event with the final flight, the tournament witnessed a possible fourth playoff, but more than that a great comeback victory. After Day 1 we would have four players within five strokes of each other. On Day 2 we wouls see one player sneak up the leaderboard and avoid playoff to complete the comback win. Trailing by eight strokes after Day 1, German Macias would claim the comback victory with a TOTAL of +36 (180), making this his FIRST MAJOR VICTORY ON TOUR. Thomas Christianson would take the second place spot with a total of +37 (181).
