CURRENT NEWS

Please note that we can no longer offer the US Handicap subscription as part of our membership kit.
The USGA has discontinued the direct licensing program and effectively immediately, all handicap accounts must be obtained exclusively through local state golf associations.

If you have a current US Handicap subscription from the 2021 season, your account may remain active until your current subscription expires. Once expired, you will then be able to contact your state golf association and provide them with your USHandicap Number to get your account renewed. Our understanding is that you will not lose any of your scoring history.

For those of you that have already signed up for a USHandicap subscription for the 2022, we will be reaching out to you individually to restore your credit.

With the 2022 Season half way complete, we continue to see outstanding golf being played. We had some first time Champions, and 2 Flights needed a playoff for the Major.

Thank you to the staff at both
we greatly appreciate you hosting us for our Major Championship
Tournament Results

Champ Flight - Leading off the second Major of the season, we had one player take a commanding lead after Day 1. The question for Day 2 was if this player can have a great round and get into red figures. HB Kim would take the Major Championship with a EVEN (144 Total) and another trophy for the shelf.

A Flight - Being the next flight to follow and having some familiar faces, everyone had a chance to take it all. After Day 1, we had all six players in the mix with four strokes separating them. On Day 2, we would see two players battling it out for the Major. Abdul Mercado would take the Major Championship with a +13 (157 Total). Billy Hinojos would take second with a +16 (160).

B Flight - Just like every event we have, this flight always has a battle to the end. After Day 1, we had half the field in the mix with five strokes separating them. On Day 2, we would see a battle between two players and they would need a playoff to determine the Champion. Gaudencio Pavia would take the Major Championship with a +20 (164 Total). Kenneth Crowe would take second with a +20 (164 Total).

C Flight - Being the biggest flight in the tournament, any of the players could come out with the victory. After Day 1, half the field was in the mix with anything happening on Day 2. On Day 2 we would see at one point a 5 way tie for the lead, but once the dust had settled we would have a playoff between two players. Eddie Reyna would take the Major Championship with a +29 (173 Total). Martin Gonzales would take second with a +29 (173 Total). Jimmy Enriquez would take third with a +31 (175 Total) and Thomas Kay would take fourth with a +33 (177 Total)

D Flight - Finishing up with our final flight, we always see a tight race throughout the entire tournament. After Day 1 we had three players in the mix with four strokes separating them. On Day 2 we would see a tight race throughout the day until the final four holes. Federico Corral would take the Major Championship with a +46 (190 Total)  making it his first victory on tour . Rick Brautigam would take second with a +51 (195 Total).

Congratulations to all our flight winners this weekend at the
Beat the Heat Major Championship.
