JD was selected by a voting panel that looked beyond scores and tournament finishes. The award recognizes what a player brings to the Tour throughout the entire season—support for the Tour, support for fellow players, attitude, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.
JD represents all of those qualities. He comes ready to compete, brings a great attitude to the course, supports the players around him, and continues to be a strong supporter of the North Louisiana Tour.
Being competitive and wanting to win is a big part of tournament golf, but how you compete and how you treat the people you compete against are just as important. JD has demonstrated both.

Congratulations to Dillon McCartney, voted the 2026 North Louisiana MVP!
Dillon was selected by a voting panel that looked beyond scores and tournament finishes. The MVP award recognizes a player’s overall impact throughout the season—support for the Tour, support for fellow players, attitude, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.
Dillon has shown all of those qualities throughout 2026. He brings a positive attitude and competitive mindset every time he tees it up, while continuing to support the Tour and the players he competes alongside.
Being an MVP is about more than playing great golf. It’s about what you bring to the Tour, how you represent it, and the impact you have on the people around you. Dillon has earned the respect of his fellow players and the panel entrusted with selecting this year’s recipient.
