Tour stop number three comes to us from historic Piqua Country Club, which was built in 1896 and designed by famed architect Donald Ross.

The Champ flight saw last year’s player of the year, Dustin Fields (Cincinnati Tour) capture his first title of the year firing a 76 to hold off John Fryman (Columbus OH Tour) by one shot. Ryan Groff (Cincinnati Tour) and Joe Goldschmidt (Cincinnati Tour) tied with 79’s with Groff securing third after a scorecard playoff.

Next up was the A flight. Rodney Donley (Cincinnati Tour) found himself the winner with a steady round of 78 to hold off John Harvey (Indianapolis Tour) who shot a 79. James Heath (Kentucky Tour) was third with an 80. Kevin Dick (Cincinnati Tour) finished fourth with an 82.

In the B flight, last year’s player of the year Michael Anderson (Cincinnati Tour) again found himself in the winner’s circle firing a nice round of 81. Peter Detty (Cincinnati Tour) was second with an 86. Steven Foster (Cincinnati Tour) took third over Gary Shinkle (Cincinnati Tour) after a scorecard playoff with both shooting 87.

In the C flight, Brian Lane (Cincinnati Tour) played steady all day capturing the win with a fine 83. Austin Tielke (Cincinnati Tour) took second with an 88 and Robert Ward (Cincinnati Tour) was one back in third with an 89. Tanner Anderson was fourth with a 90.

Last up on the regular tour was the D flight, which saw another first time winner in Michael Didion (Cincinnati Tour) complete an impressive eight shot victory shooting a 90. Mark Nelson (Columbus OH Tour) was second with a 98. Don Hubbard (Cincinnati Tour) and Justin Meadors (Columbus OH Tour) tied with 101’s with Hubbard securing third after a scorecard playoff.

Next up is the Senior division. In the A flight Todd Bridges (Cincinnati Tour) locked down the win firing a fine round of 80 to best David Lutey (Cincinnati Tour) who shot 83. Tour veteran James Snyder (Cincinnati Tour) and Mike Morton (Cincinnati Tour) tied with 87’s with Snyder capturing third after a scorecard playoff.

In the B division Kelly Woods (Cincinnati Tour) held off Darrell Brandenburg (Cincinnati Tour) by one shot shooting an 89 to bring home the victory.

Next up the C flight saw Mike Sander (Cincinnati Tour) top the field shooting a 90 while Rick Gordon (Columbus OH Tour) and Jeffrey Orphal (Cincinnati Tour) fired rounds of 94 with Gordon capturing second after a scorecard playoff.

Last up was D flight which saw Michael Myers (North Central Florida Tour) nail down the victory shooting a 105.

We would like to thank everyone for their support and patience with a tough setup comprised of thick rough and slick greens. It wasn’t easy but we all managed to finish our rounds while leaving the course how we found it. Thank you again and see you at Four Bridges Country Club on May 2nd
