The EP / LC Players Championship at Pueblo de Cochiti GC was another unforgettable out-of-town event for the 2026 season!
Held on May 30–31, we had 43 players make the trip north for our latest two-day Major. These destination events continue to be a highlight of the season, bringing together great competition, great camaraderie, and a chance to experience some outstanding golf throughout New Mexico.
From start to finish, the field battled it out over two rounds to crown our Champions.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip and helped make another out-of-town event a success. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!

| We would also see on DAY 1 a combined 33 Birdies, 1 Eagle and a HOLE IN ONE!!! 23 of those birdies were between our Champ & A Flight!!! |
Tournament Results

Champ Flight
This flight would see all the players capable of going low and taking the Major Championship. After Day 1, we would see all the players in the 70's with the leader going Even Par and taking a three stroke lead. Day 2 we would see close to the same results we saw in Day 1, but our Champion would go UNDER PAR even with a double on his last hole. Will Schaffer emerged victorious with a -1 (143 Total), marking this his 2nd TOUR WIN OVERALL!!!
Congratulations goes out to RJ BELK who had his FIRST HOLE IN ONE on the 4th hole. He was 136 yards out and hit a Pitching Wedge. Rumor has it that the ball hit the right side of the hole, bounced left and went right in.

A Flight
This flight was loaded with great competitors, and anyone of them could come out on top. After Day 1 our leader would have only a two stroke lead. But anything could happen on Day 2 with how strong this field was. On Day 2 we would see just that, as a handful of players made a run for a hopeful comeback. But in the end we woudl see Rick Silva return to the the winner circle, after a couple of years absense, with a +7 (151 Total) and making this his 6th TOUR WIN OVERALL!!! Dan Duran would take second place with a +14 (158 Total)

B Flight
Just like the Master Major in March, one Member would come out firing and not looking back. He would take a six stroke lead into Day 2 with everyone talking about only playing for second place at that point. But on Day 2 the field took those comments personally and came out with a mission to catch or surpass the leader. At one point there was only a two stroke gap with only four holes to play. But in the end we would see something special start to brew not only for this tournament, but for the remainder of the season. Alex Jasso would continue to claim victoriesin different flights with a +14 (158 Total), securing his 3rd TOUR WIN THIS SEASON & OVERALL!!!. NATIONAL CHAMP Ricardo Almeida would take second with a +17 (161 Total).
Alex Jasso & Ricardo Almeida would also earn a promotion to A FLIGHT!!!

C Flight
This flight would have a roller coaster of a leaderboard throughout the tournament. After Day 1 we would see a leader that has been waiting for his chance to be a champion. But he only had a four stroke lead, and most the of flight were right there trying to catch him. On Day 2 we would see some low scores and our Day 1 leader struggle throughout the day. After all was said and done, Ruben Herrera would win with a +30 (174 Total), marking his 2nd TOUR WIN THIS SEASON & OVERALL!!! Stephanie Sieslik would take second place with a +32 (176 Total).

D Flight
Our final group would have a strong start from a handful of players, but anything can happen as we have seen in the past! After Day 1 our leader had a slim lead of one stroke, and a handful of players ready to catch him. On Day 2 the leaderboard would shift many times and it would come down to the final three holes to determine the champion. Steven Trevizo would go BACK TO BACK and take the victory with a +35 (179 Total), marking this his 5th TOUR WIN OVERALL!!! Manny Munoz would take second with a +37 (181).
