The Las Cruces Classic at NMSU in Las Cruces, NM was another fantastic stop on the 2026 schedule!
Held on June 27th, we had over 50 players come out to compete under beautiful weather and ideal playing conditions. The course was in excellent shape, making for a fun and competitive day as players battled it out across all five flights.
Congratulations to all of our flight winners and thank you to everyone who came out to make another tournament a success. We always enjoy returning to NMSU Golf Course and can’t wait to see everyone at the next event!

Tournament Results

Champ Flight
We would see a battle for most of the day, with the leaderboard changing constantly throughout the day. At the turn we would have only one stroke separating the leader from the pack. It would take a two under back nine to seal the deal and crown our champion. Grant Taylor would take the victory with a -1 (71), marking this his FIRST EVER VICTORY ON TOUR!

A Flight
This flight is always packed with talent and anyone can take the victory. At the turn we would see the entire field in contention, and nine holes to decide our champion. It would come down to the final four holes and avoiding a surge from one member to claim the championship and miss a playoff. Drake Wehrs would return to the the winner circle with a +1 (73) and making this his 8th TOUR VICTORY OVERALL!!! Fernie Jasso would take the second place with a +2 (74).

|
B Flight
The entire flight would come out of the gates fast and give a battle for the ages. At the turn a third of the flight would be in contention and it would take a strong final three holes for our champion to arise. He would even avoid another playoff for the event. David Parham would see himself back in the winners circle after a three year absence with a +5 (77), securing his 2nd TOUR WIN OVERALL!!! Michael Wood Jr. would give it a good try but take another second place finish with a +6 (78).

|
C Flight
With one of the biggest flights we have seen all year, there was a chance for anyone to win big. At the turn you could draw a name from a hat and they had a chance to win. It would come down to the wire BUT we would need a three way playoff to determine our champion. After the playoff we would see the biggest smile on our champions face. Jose Arguello would become the champion with a +12 (84), marking this his 1st VICTORY ON TOUR! Steven Trevizo would take second place after a scorecard playoff, and Nique Woods-Shells would take third after that scorecard playoff.

D Flight
With the big promotions we had at the last event, the door was wide open for anyone that wanted to take the step in and take a victory. At the turn it was a tight race with all but our leader who had a four stroke lead on the field. As the holes became less and less, that lead would become smaller. With three holes to go we had a tie for the lead and we thought there would be another playoff. But in the end NEW MEMBER Enrique Solis would finish with a +14 (86), marking this his FIRST VICTORY OVERALL!!! German Macias would take second with a +15 (87).
German Macias would also earn a
promotion to C FLIGHT!!!
