Modified Stableford Format

Modified Stableford Format
This format is based on your established AGT handicap or established handicap which ever is lower minus 36 which gives you your first event quota, and adjusts with every Houston Tour event you play in.
If this is your first Houston Tour event then your starting quota is as follows:
Champion Flight = 34 quota / A Flight = 30 quota / B Flight = 25 quota
C Flight = 20 quota / D Flight = 15 quota

Scoring is based on scratch score on a hole
You get points towards your quota based on the following:
Double Bogey or more on a hole = 0 points
Bogey = 1 point
Par = 2 points
Birdie = 4 points
Eagle = 6 points
Double Eagle = 8 points

After your first official Houston Tour event; your quota will be adjusted based on how much you went over your quota or under your quota and then add or subtract 50%.
Example: If your first days quota was 22, and based on the scoring above, you made  18 points, 4 points below your quota, your stableford score would be - 4 (18-22=-4).
50 % of -4 is -2, so for the next event your quota would now be 20 (instead of 22).
If you would had scored 24 points, then your first round score would be +2, since you scored 2 points above your quota, so your next round quota would be 23. (50% of +2 is +1 / 1+22=23)
This type of adjustment continues for each event you play in,
although there is a maximum deduction of 6 total points below the flight you're in starting quota. Example: Based on the (above) starting quotas, if you are in the "A" flight then your quota for a side stableford event cannot go below 24 points (30 - 6 max = 24)
