The 2025 Get Er Done HVAC Showcase at Mules National Golf Club was a resounding success, despite a 45-minute delay caused by rain. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our members and tournament sponsor, Get Er Done HVAC, for their invaluable contributions, which were instrumental in ensuring the resounding success of this event. We also wish to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of the Mules National Golf Club pro and staff.

The Championship Flight featured four competitors, with J.R. Munson, the points leader in the Championship Flight, taking an early lead after nine holes. He was ahead of Adam Trainor by three strokes and Caleb Morrison, a new member, by four strokes. Morrison staged an impressive comeback in the final 12 holes, achieving nine pars and one birdie, ultimately tying for second place.

After nine holes, the A Flight displayed a competitive landscape, with five players within a narrow four-shot margin. As the play advanced to the 11th hole, the tension escalated, with all five competitors separated by just two shots. This group included Scott Rutherford, the 2023 Player of the Year, who began his back nine with a birdie on the 10th hole, followed by a par on the 11th, as he aimed to reclaim his top position.

Troy Bailey commenced his play on hole 17 with a par and then achieved a noteworthy birdie on the par-3 island green, placing him just one shot behind after 11 holes. At this stage, Scottie Glodowski, Paul Stanton, and Andrew Zeigler were tied for the lead at +6. However, Zeigler's clutch performance, highlighted by three consecutive pars, ultimately secured his victory, finishing two shots ahead of Glodowski and three shots clear of Bailey, who took third place.

The B Flight showcased a competitive round, with seven golfers within five strokes after nine holes. Dillon Rogers began his round strongly, finishing the first five holes at even par and leading the pack at +3. Brandon Hale trailed by two strokes, while Kelly Bordewick was three shots off the pace. Tim Greenwood found himself four strokes back, with Jay Jones and Curt Vignery five strokes behind.

After twelve holes, Hale and Rogers were tied at +8 until the pivotal 10th hole, a par five, where Rogers made an eagle, taking a two-stroke lead. However, a triple bogey on the 17th hole left Hale with the opportunity to clinch a one-stroke victory, with Vignery finishing in third place, just three shots behind.

The C Flight lived up to its reputation as the most competitive, featuring 18 members and 6 contenders within 4 strokes of Dillon Meals' +6 score after 9 holes. Dillon began impressively, carding a +1 over his first 6 holes. At the conclusion of the front nine, David King trailed by 2 strokes, while Chris Matson and Brandon Love were 3 strokes behind, and Ed Christiansen, Mark Fuqua, and Steven Schultz lagged 4 strokes off the pace.

In a remarkable turn of events, “Eazy E” (Ed Christiansen) staged a comeback, finishing his last 3 holes with 2 birdies and a par, ultimately forcing a playoff on the 18th par 3 island green. Christiansen triumphed in the playoff, securing his first victory of the season with a precise shot onto the green. Meanwhile, C Flight points leader King took home 3rd place, alongside Love and Fuqua.

The D Flight concluded the first nine holes in a tie at the top of the leaderboard, with Blaine Matthews and Steve Sahr both at +10, closely followed by Ronnie Vargas, just one stroke behind and who also secured all the D Flight's $105 skins prize by recording the only birdie in D Flight. Mathews finished the final nine holes at +11, marking his first Tour victory in over five years.
