Play at a GolfWeek Amateur Tour Tournament as a Guest
What Does It Mean to Play as a Guest?
If you’re curious about joining an amateur golf tour in Las Vegas, the GolfWeek Amateur Tour gives you a simple way to try it first.
You can play golf as a non-member once to see if the Tour fits your style. This option is only for first-time guests who have never played in any GolfWeek Amateur Tour event before.
If you’ve participated in a past season, even once, you’ll need to become a full member before signing up for another event.
How to Sign Up as a Guest:
-
Visit the Tour’s website and open the registration form for the current season.
-
Complete all required fields but skip the membership payment.
-
Once submitted, your form will be processed—this can take up to two days.
This step starts your amateur golf tour trial period, giving you temporary access to join one event as a guest.
What Happens After You Register?
You’ll receive an email with your Golfer ID and a link to create a password. Keep this email handy—it’s how you’ll access your player profile and register for tournaments.
How to Register for a Tournament:
-
Go to the Schedule page on the Tour site.
-
Browse upcoming events and find the one you’d like to play in.
-
Click Register, log in with your new credentials, and complete your entry.
-
Pay the entry fee to confirm your spot in the tournament.
If you’re playing in an amateur golf tournament in Las Vegas, spots can fill quickly, so register early.
Handicap Information:
Before the tournament, the Tour Director will contact you for your handicap details.
Be ready to provide this information as part of the event setup.
Guest Rules You Should Know
Playing as a guest comes with a few important guidelines:
-
Register and pay your entry fee at least eight days before the tournament.
-
Guests cannot play in regional tournaments.
-
You can only play one tournament as a guest. To join more events, you must become a Tour member.
-
Guests may join in side games but cannot win prizes, trophies, or points unless they join the Tour that day by paying the membership fee.
This one-time guest opportunity is a great way to experience competitive golf and meet other players before committing.
