Tournament Check-In Information
What to Expect on Tournament Day
Welcome to the Las Vegas GolfWeek Amateur Tour! We’re glad to have you join us. To make sure your day runs smoothly, here’s what to expect during the tournament check-in for GolfWeek Amateur Tour events.
How Tournament Check-In Works
As soon as you arrive, head to the registration area to check in. This area is usually inside the clubhouse but may be set up outside depending on the course.
Early check-in helps keep everything on schedule and gives you time to warm up before your round.
Paying for Side Games
Want to add a little friendly competition? Side games are available at every event, including:
-
Skins
-
Super Skins
-
Par 3 Challenge
You can pay for these using Venmo, CashApp, or cash.
Let the team know which games you’d like to play when you check in—they’ll handle the rest.
Scorecards and Live Scoring
Before heading out, you’ll receive either a scorecard or live scoring instructions.
-
If you’re using a scorecard, please write neatly and record all scores accurately.
-
If your group uses LiveScore, our team will walk you through how to use the system and answer any questions.
This ensures accurate scoring and smooth updates during the round.
Practice Before Your Tee Time
Your entry fee includes range balls, so you can warm up before your tee time. The driving range is open for all registered players. Arriving early gives you time to practice your swing and get comfortable before play begins.
Ready to Play
Once check-in is complete, you’re ready to hit the course and enjoy your day.
For a smooth first experience, take a few minutes to read the Tour Manual before your tournament day.
We’re excited to see you at your next tournament check-in for GolfWeek Amateur Tour—get ready for great golf, good competition, and a fun day on the course!
