The Fox Hunt Delivers Tight Races at Fox Hollow

The Golfweek Amateur Tour returned to Fox Hollow Golf Club for the 2026 Fox Hunt, where a strong field of competitors battled one of the Twin Cities' premier layouts. With demanding approach shots, challenging green complexes, and little room for mistakes, Fox Hollow rewarded consistency while punishing costly errors.
By the end of the day, four champions emerged, highlighted by commanding victories in A and D Flights and dramatic finishes in both B and C Flights.
A Flight

Larry "O.G." Caldwell delivered one of the most complete rounds of the tournament, carding a 77 (+5) to claim the A Flight championship by five strokes. Caldwell stayed in control throughout the round, limiting mistakes while consistently finding fairways and greens to separate himself from the field.
Felix Scott finished second with an 82 after battling back on the closing holes, while Robbie Cordes claimed third with an 89.

B Flight

The deepest field of the tournament produced its closest finish.
Matt Catlin fired a steady 78 (+6) to earn the B Flight title, but the margin for error was virtually nonexistent. Just one stroke behind, Parker Huen, Tanner Lydon, and Dave Rojo all posted rounds of 79, keeping pressure on Catlin until the final scorecards were signed.
Only three strokes separated first through fifth place, making B Flight the most competitive division of the day.

C Flight

No division produced more drama than C Flight.
Steve Ellenson, Dean Chester, and Nick Rykal each finished regulation tied at 83 (+11), forcing the championship to be decided by the Golfweek Amateur Tour scorecard playoff. Ellenson earned the victory after prevailing in the tiebreaker, capping one of the most competitive finishes of the season.
Brad Dohmen narrowly missed joining the playoff after finishing just two shots back with an 85.
C Flight Results

D Flight

Ted Chapman continued his impressive 2026 campaign with another decisive victory.
Chapman posted an 85 (+13) to capture the D Flight championship by ten strokes, pulling away from the field with consistent play throughout the round. Spencer White finished runner-up with a 95, while Willie Braziel claimed third at 98.
