2026 Test at Troy Burne Event Recap
The Minneapolis–St. Paul Golfweek Amateur Tour made its annual stop at the spectacular Troy Burne Golf Club, and one of the premier venues on the schedule once again delivered championship-caliber golf. Fast greens, demanding approach shots, and championship conditions challenged every flight, rewarding players who stayed patient and executed under pressure.
Championship Flight

The headline belonged to Kurt Lambert, who turned in the round of the day with an outstanding even-par 71. Lambert carded four birdies and was the only player in the field to finish at even par or better, pulling away from a talented Championship Flight to earn the victory.
Defending points leader Dom Rosati continued his consistent season with a solid 74, while Steve Schubert rounded out the podium after posting a 76. Caleb Ruggles finished fourth with an 82.
A Flight

Larry "O.G." Caldwell continued his impressive 2026 campaign by firing a 79 to capture another victory. Caldwell's round featured three birdies, helping him separate himself from the field and collect another 450-point performance.
Andrew Colbeth claimed runner-up honors with an 83, followed by Jerry Carlson at 85. Joshua VanCampen's three birdies highlighted his round despite finishing fourth at 86, while Felix Scott completed the top five with an 87.
B Flight

B Flight produced one of the most competitive races of the day before Tanner Lydon emerged on top with an 83. Lydon's steady play throughout the round proved enough to hold off the field and secure the championship.
Parker Huen finished second with an 86, followed closely by Dave Rojo (87), Geoffrey Zahn (88), and Brent Svac (89) in a tightly contested battle. Matt Meyers added the lone birdie among the next group while shooting 91.
C Flight

Austin Ludeman put together one of the strongest performances of the tournament, shooting an excellent 82 to earn the C Flight title. Ludeman's consistent ball striking and lone birdie of the day helped him finish eight strokes clear of the field.
Steve Ellenson finished second at 90, Tim Palya took third with 91, and Jimmy Schomaker and David Jelle rounded out the top five with scores of 93 and 94 respectively.
D Flight

Dennis Dreelin captured the D Flight championship with a winning score of 93, edging longtime competitor Ted Chapman by a single stroke in one of the closest finishes of the day.
Spencer White and John Krieger tied for third at 101, while Jason Sailes completed the top five with 108.
