The 2026 Golfweek Amateur Tour Minneapolis/St. Paul points races are beginning to take shape, but with valuable points still available, none of the five flight championships can be considered settled.

Some leaders have created significant separation through steady attendance and repeated high finishes. Others are locked in close battles where one victory could completely change the standings.

From Matthew Foehse’s advantage in the Championship Flight to the tight two-player duel between Larry “O.G.” Caldwell and Felix Scott in A Flight, the closing stretch of the season is positioned to deliver plenty of drama.

CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT

Foehse Sets the Pace with Consistency and Scoring Power

Points leader: Matthew Foehse — 2,670 points

Matthew Foehse has taken control of the Championship Flight points race with one of the strongest all-around statistical seasons on the Minnesota Tour.

Through nine tournaments, Foehse has accumulated 2,670 points, giving him a commanding advantage over the rest of the flight. His league-leading 24 birdies show that the lead has not been built on attendance alone. Foehse has consistently created scoring opportunities and converted enough of them to remain near the top of the leaderboard throughout the season.

He has also recorded an eagle and earned $100 while maintaining a 0.8 handicap.

The Chasers

Dom Rosati sits second with 1,275 points through five tournaments. Rosati has recorded seven birdies and has remained competitive despite making four fewer starts than Foehse. Kurt Lambert is third with 1,175 points, but his position may be the most intriguing in the flight. Lambert has played only three tournaments while producing eight birdies, an eagle and $120 in earnings. His minus-1.3 handicap is the lowest among the leading contenders.

Lambert trails Rosati by only 100 points despite playing two fewer events.

Caldwell and Scott Locked in the Tour’s

Closest Championship Battle

Points leader: Larry “O.G.” Caldwell — 2,765 points

Larry “O.G.” Caldwell has moved into the top position in A Flight, but Felix Scott remains close enough to apply pressure at every remaining event.

Caldwell has earned 2,765 points through nine tournaments. His season includes 12 birdies and $340 in earnings. He has regularly placed himself in contention and has shown an ability to produce his best golf when the points and trophies matter most.

His advantage over Scott is only 220 points, making A Flight the tightest battle among the five current points races.

The Chasers

Felix Scott is second with 2,545 points through ten tournaments. Scott leads Caldwell in birdies, 13 to 12, while earning $320. He has played one additional event, but the standings suggest the two players have been nearly inseparable throughout the season.

Joshua VanCampen is third with 1,465 points through six starts. VanCampen has five birdies and $200 in earnings. He faces a significant points deficit, but with fewer events played than the two leaders, he still has room to improve his position.

B FLIGHT

Zahn Leads the Tour’s Deepest Points Race

Points leader: Geoffrey Zahn — 2,597 points

The B Flight points race features the deepest group of contenders and one of the smallest gaps separating the top four players.

Geoffrey Zahn leads with 2,597 points through 14 tournaments. Zahn has relied on steady participation and consistent results, but he has also delivered several impressive scoring moments. His nine birdies and two eagles give him more eagles than any other leading player across the five flights.

Zahn has earned $320 and has shown that he can collect points on nearly every type of golf course.

The Chasers

Tanner Lydon is second with 2,270 points through nine tournaments. Lydon has collected 12 birdies and a flight-leading $500 in earnings. He trails Zahn by 327 points despite playing five fewer events, making him a serious threat during the remaining schedule.

Matt Meyers holds third with 1,720 points through nine starts. Meyers has nine birdies and $200 in earnings, but he has almost no margin for error behind him.

Brent Svac sits fourth with 1,705 points, only 15 points behind Meyers. Dave Rojo is also within range at 1,450 points, making B Flight the most crowded championship race on the Tour.

C FLIGHT

Ludeman Builds One of the Season’s Strongest Resumes

Points leader: Austin Ludeman — 3,420 points

Austin Ludeman has established himself as the clear standard in C Flight.

Ludeman leads with 3,420 points through ten tournaments and has earned an impressive $870, the highest total among all current flight leaders. His six birdies are tied with Steve Ellenson, but Ludeman’s repeated high finishes have allowed him to build a 719-point advantage.

His 14.3 handicap is also the lowest among the top three C Flight contenders.

Steve Ellenson is second with 2,701 points through nine tournaments. Ellenson has matched Ludeman with six birdies and has earned $460. He remains the only player currently positioned to place immediate pressure on the leader.

Dean Chester sits third with 1,470.33 points through six tournaments. Chester has one birdie and $180 in earnings. His limited number of starts has kept him behind the top two, but he holds a narrow advantage over Xavier Riggle, who is fourth with 1,333.33 points.

D FLIGHT

Chapman Continues to Set the Standard

Points leader: Ted Chapman — 3,525 points

Ted Chapman owns the highest points total on the Minnesota Tour and has created a substantial advantage in D Flight.

Through ten tournaments, Chapman has accumulated 3,525 points, three birdies and $580 in earnings. His 986-point lead over Dennis Dreelin is the largest current margin among the five flights.

Chapman’s success has come from more than one or two standout performances. He has consistently finished near the top and has rarely allowed a tournament to pass without adding meaningful points.

The Chasers

Dennis Dreelin sits second with 2,539 points through 15 tournaments, the most starts of any player among the top three in any flight. Dreelin has three birdies and $195 in earnings. His persistence and regular participation have kept him securely in second place.

Spencer White is third with 2,315 points through nine tournaments. White trails Dreelin by only 224 points, making the battle for second significantly closer than the battle for first.

White has recorded two birdies and $80 in earnings. A strong finish at one event could move him past Dreelin.

The current standings reveal five very different championship races.
