

Matt Green, Rich Campbell, Ryan Nelson, Raymond Richardson, and Butch Novak all won the Ohio Regional at Firestone (North & South)!
The 2026 Golfweek Amateur Tour moved to Ohio for the second time at Firestone CC. Golfers representing 17 local Tours from across the country traveled to Hilton Head to compete at Firestone CC. The competition was fierce from start to finish, and each of the five flight champions earned an automatic entry into the 2026 National Championship this October.
In the Championship Flight, Matt Green (Cincinnati/Dayton), repeated in 2026 firing a 75-69-144 Total. Sunday’s 69 was on the famous South Course and was the low round of the weekend. Finishing second was Eric Snodgrass (Columbus) at 153 followed by Andres Lopez (Hilton Head/Savannah). Joe Goldschmidt (Cincinnati/Dayton) was fourth with 157 and Matt Malone (Cleveland/Akron) rounded out the top five scores at 159.
In the A Flight, Rich Campbell (Columbus) claimed the Ohio Regional title with a two-round total of 164, finishing three strokes clear of the field. Chau Tran (Kentucky) earned second place on the card playoff at 167, beating Cory Schneider (Cincinnati/Dayton) and Michael Decker (Philadelphia).
In the B Flight, Ryan Nicholson (Indianapolis), earned a one stroke victory after posting rounds of 88 and 82 for a two-day total of 170. Warren Hodges, (Cincinnati/Dayton), finished solo second at 171, followed by Robert Muncy (Atlanta), who placed third with a 172. Steve Riley (Cleveland/Akron) claimed fourth place with a score of 176, while LR Gardner (Arkansas) rounded out the top five at 177.
In the C Flight, Raymond Richardson (Cincinnati/Dayton), captured a narrow two-shot victory, posting rounds of 94 and 85 for a winning total of 179. Dan India (Chicago) finished second at 191, while Jack Marquardt (Cleveland/Akron) placed third with a score of 183. Stan Mitchell (Chicago) and Dan Hubbard (Cincinnati/Dayton) rounded out the top five, each finishing at 184.
In the D Flight, Butch Novak (Columbus), captured the crystal trophy with a two-day total of 190. Jacob Smith (Michigan), was third at 191 and Michael Wilson (Cincinnati/Dayton), finished third with 209.
