Mike Hartselle (Tidewater, VA) claimed victory in dramatic fashion, winning a sudden death playoff against Chris Greenfield (Tidewater, VA). Both players fired impressive rounds of 78, setting up a head-to-head showdown on Hole 18, where Hartselle sealed the win.
Finishing in third place was Michael Goulet (Tidewater, VA) with a 79, highlighted by an even-par back nine in his debut tournament on the Tidewater Golfweek Amateur Tour—an impressive first showing.
Matt Ferrell delivered a steady and confident performance from start to finish, firing an impressive 77 on a beautiful day at Bide A Wee. Never wavering, his composure and consistency set him apart in a highly competitive field.
Highlight Moment: Ferrell electrified the round with an eagle on Hole 6, holing out from the fairway—an unforgettable shot that proved to be a major difference-maker.
Finishing in second place was Marcus Godinez (Tidewater, VA) with a strong 80.
Just behind him, Kevin Martin and JD Somerset (Tidewater, VA) both carded 81s to share third place, rounding out a tightly contested A Flight.
The B Flight featured a strong and competitive field of 22 players, and it was Zach Call (Tidewater, VA) who rose above the rest to claim victory—also moving into second place in the tour points standings.
Call secured the win in dramatic fashion, defeating Tim Sayles in a sudden death playoff on Hole 18 after both players posted solid rounds of 81 in regulation.
Finishing in second place was Harry Taormina (Tidewater, VA) with an impressive 82, a performance that propelled him into the tour points lead.
Just behind him, Dale Chu (Tidewater, VA) carded an 83 to secure third place, capping off an outstanding day that also included his earlier hole-in-one.
The C Flight featured the largest field of the day with 28 players, and it was Nick Humbert (Tidewater, VA) who continued his dominant run, claiming victory and securing back-to-back wins following his impressive performance at the Virginia Masters. Humbert posted a strong 85, winning by two strokes and continuing his upward momentum. With the results now official, Humbert will be moving up to the B Flight with a 13.8 index.
Finishing in second place was Donovan Mahiai (Tidewater, VA) with an impressive 87.
Just behind him, Jeff Williams (Tidewater, VA) carded an 88 to secure third place.
Rounding out the top finishers, Shaun Jackson and Mike Grant (Tidewater, VA) both recorded 89, tying for fourth place in a competitive C Flight field.
The D Flight featured a competitive field of 25 players, and it was Jim Brock (Tidewater, VA) who rose to the top with a convincing three-shot victory at Bide A Wee.
Brock fired an 88, with a standout back nine 41 that proved to be the difference both early and late in the round, separating him from the field.
Finishing in second place was Michael Conley (Tidewater, VA) with a strong 91.
Just behind him, Mark Hazelwood (Tidewater, VA) also posted a 91 to secure third place.
Rounding out the top finishers, Will Spittle (Tidewater, VA) finished in fourth place with a 91, while Jim O’Neill (Tidewater, VA) claimed fifth place with a 92.
