Play was cut after nine holes Saturday due to weather but the competition was tight throughout the day.

Tysen Sarkela took the top spot in the A Flight with a 38, one stroke ahead of Jon Wood. Sarkela made a birdie and four pars. James Earnhardt and Rich Revels, a Charlotte Tour member, each carded a 40, good for a two-way tie for third.

Adam Shealy used two birdies and three pars to earn a win in the B Flight (38). Jack Beach, of the Charlotte Tour, finished one stroke behind Shealy for second. Bill Russell edged Nick Hinton for third, 42-43.

Scott Cain placed first in the C Flight with a 39. Jeremy Wilson and Matt Green finished in a two-way tie for second (42) while Tommy Stokes, a Myrtle Beach-Wilmington Tour member, and Mitch Green both shot a 43 — tying for fourth.

AJ Lee took first in the D Flight. He made a birdie and a par, en route to a 43 on nine holes. Jim Washburn carded a 46, good for second, while Benji Raines rounded out the top-3 with a 48 — one stroke ahead of fourth-place finisher Ken Barrett

This event featured a special Stableford Competition as a side game. The winning team was the 11:50 tee group of Josh Calhoun, Skyler Jackson, Scott Cain and Jim Washburn. Congratulations on the win!
