The Atlanta and Upstate Tours came together for the second year in a row at Currahee Club. The sold-out field resulted in low scores and tight competition across the five flights. The Championship Flight winner, Barry Graham shot an even par 72 for the top spot. Joshua Phillips placed second with a 75, while Shanga White took third, after carding an 82.

Mo Branes claimed the A Flight trophy after shooting a 79 and eding out Ben Roberts and Sage Blackwood, who both tied fro second with an 80. Chris Lombardozzi placed fourth (81) while two players tied for fifth at 83: Bill Russell and Brandt Howard.

Sean McKaig earned the victory in the B Flight with a 1-over-par 80. Greg Burrell edged out Jeremy Bennett for second, 83-84, while Chris Helton finished just one stroke behind Bennett for fourth. Mark Morris and Patrick Smith both shot 87 and tied for fifth place.

Charles Mathis captured the win in the C Flight with a card of 84. James Shorty shot an 89 for second, and Greg Smith and Michael Moore tied for third with scores of 91.

The champion of the D Flight was Rick Rackley for the second tournament in a row. Rackly won with a 95 by making the shots he needed down the home stretch to seal the one-stroke victory over Roger Allison. Donald Henning and Shawn Parfitt tied for third (97). Jesse Durham rounded out the top in fifth place with a 98.

An added bonus to the event was an impromptu side challenge for the five sets of fathers/sons in the field. Based on Stableford Points, each duo's scores were combined for the extra side game. Just as in the rest of the tournament, competition was tight and there was a tie between the Upstate team of Bob & Bill Russell and the Atlanta team of Chris & Mike Webb. Each pair took home an extra $100 gift card. All father/son teams are pictured below and shared in the experience of two tournaments in one - thanks for participating!
