Well we tried with the threesomes but it didn’t work. We had 4 know shows (only one called) so it really screwed up pairings and we had to add forsomes, which slowed us down. Also for future information, players on our tour CAN NOT COMPETE as two-somes!!! So if you ever see that’s what you have, please let us know so we can add a player.

But we had a great day, with LIVE SCORING… which has me getting into the 21^st century!!!. It’s fantastic and with the help of Charlotte tour dir Phil Vangeersdaden and our own Crys Peyton we were able to run it. Phil has agreed to work with me and help us get prepared to use it at our event on 4/21 at WILDEWOOD…. Our next event on 4/7 ORANGEBURG we will be using it since Charleston tour has it. (Their tour director is more it savy… navy guy).  But with it comes some need for change, you guys need to sign up earlier, and start using the website sign-up, which will get your entry into the system….. But we will discuss more later.

We had a great tournament and thank all the players visiting especially the Charlotte tour, who had 14 players in our event.

CHAMP FLT MATT WEST, our newest player had a solid round of 75 to beat the Charlotte’s WALLY WEST by 3 strokes.

A FLIGHT MIKE GRIGGS finally made all his work in practice pay off with a super round of 76 for a 6 stroke win over MARC JANSE VAN RENSBERG 2^nd, and ERNIE TIMMERMAN 3^rd

B FLIGHT was a real dogfight with 3 players tied for first with 81’s ALLEN HAGEN, DELANO JONES AND DAN FLIPPO…. FLIPPO was the winner, with HAGEN 2^ND and DELAN JONES 3^rd and KIER ANDERSEN 4^th.

C FLT This was another close one with a dog fight with two players in same group and DWIGHT WILLIAMS came out the winner over BRYAN MCHUGH, with TONY JAMES 3^rd.

D FLIGHT MIKE FLANIGAN had a super round of 88 for the win over GENE BEAMUS who had a 92 for 2^nd (But score was good enough to get him promoted to C FLT) and 3^rd CRYS PEYTON.
